Hi Ihave a q7 2007 The EPC light and engine light are now on it drives fine for 15-20 min then the it starts to rough idle getting more violent as the time goes and the car is at a standstill.. it wil start to die towards the end of the drive if I dont make it back home the gas pedals becomes unresponsive and will burst the car off to get it to make it home if played with just right and will drive a little further and a stop light will cause it to shut off again i checked pcv vlves which seem cleaned CODES has misfires on all cylinders and runs lean
What year is that car that you're working on? I own a touareg 2008 and it doesn't have those relays that the car you're working on has.

Hello. Just dealing with an issue for 08 Q7 (seems to be same as the vehicle in your video). We replaced both fuel pumps and the fuel pressure sensor but still have a check engine with camshaft sensor error. Do you have any ideas what it could be? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Camshaft position sensor codes, have nothing to do with fuel pumps... Check if the codes come up after you clear them with the engine off, if they do, then most likely a problem with electrical system. If they don't, then most likely a problem with engine timing...

I have a 05 Touareg and my engine would not stay running, I changed the plugs but nothing happen. Do you think it might be the fuel pumps?
there could be allot of reasons for your car not to stay running.....
you have to find where is the problem coming from. is it missing fuel or spark at the moment is stalls...
check fuel pressure and go from there...

Hi i have a 2008 touareg. It doesnt indicate fuel capacity correctly. For example when I fill the tank full but it shows half of tank. Could you say what is the problem
you have to scan the cluster and see what each level sensor is reading... most likely something is wrong with one of the level sensors.
Hey I have a 2004 vw Touareg v8 and i changed the spark plugs at 129,000 miles and like 25 mile last I check the plugs again and there were black like the vehicle is burning a lot of oil and it's misfiring a lot can you give me any suggestions what I should do. And now when I try to turn on my vehicle it cranks but it does not start like if there's no gas going into the engine I will check the gas pressure.
Did you ever found out what was wrong with your vehicle mine is doing the same thing but it's to the point it won't crank now.
@@krambert6172 check the pump and secondary pump. Start with simple things first fuel lines, fuses also scan for any codes

Hi, have a cayenne 2004 4.5L V8 the truck stalls, I cleaned fuel filter it was very cloged, put it back and still doing the same, have 60 psi on fuel, and I did the flow test, collected 500 ml of fuel in the 2 pumps in 15 seconds, are the fuel pump bad_

Hi, it ignites every time and after abot 5 MINUTES it starts to hesitate, today did not stall but it hesitates, i tried each pump separate and both and pressure seems ok, after 5 minutes fuel pressure still same, that make me think injectors are closing ok and fuel pressure refulator is working, now im wondering if could be electrical problem, no codes are shown on scanner.

Check the fuel filter cover, they crack sometimes...
The blow by Id need to see the car...
Engine is running fine but these errors will not go away. I get them on every trip. So this is due to the right side pump not pumping enough fuel according to you test. Do you think this is the case? I cannot test the pumps like you did.
I checked all sensors and I have vcds logs showing all sensors working fine.

Hie , got a Vw Touareg r5 TdI, my problem is last week the fuel station guys put diesel that was contaminated with water, after driving for a few kilomtres, the car stated misfiring and some jags then it stopped, i tried to crank it then it started aftr few seconds of idling it cuts off,we checked the diesel in the filter thats when whe saw that there was a mixture of diesel and water, so we drained all the diesel in the tank and cleaned the tank and also cranking to clear everthing in line from tank to the diesel filter, then we put new diesel n new filter, but nw the car is only cranking without starting, wat could be the problem guys

Maybe the main fuel pump
Hi, I have a 2006 Touareg. It has a problem on its first start after leaving it for 12 hours or so. It turns over and tries to star and dies and then will only fire up after 30 seconds of turning over. once it has started it is fine for the rest of the day. I have had it looked at and there are no faults and no reason for it not to start. any ideas?
check to see if your fuel pressure drops after the car has bees sitting, install the fuel pressure gauge on is and start the car, then turn it off and let it sit enough time for it not to start.. then before starting, check the pressure and see if you have any pressure there, if not most likely one of the check valves on the pump failed.
why remove the fuse? lol
