My buyer has told me too find a different outlet for beaver fur ... nobody is shearing for hats anymore... so they’re not buying beaver . And I’m heart broken I love beaver trapping it’s a long long season plus it brings me fur I will trade trapping out beaver for trapping rights . I have over 9000 acres of land I trap because of trading beaver carcass for trapping permissions... deer hunting land permission. I do a few blanket wall decor hoops made of copper and then a few chewed sticks but I mostly give those too the people who called me too eliminate the problem beavers 🦫. I smoke the beaver also and make jerky and pass that too the land owners also ! Just too show I’m not just after fur ... but I don’t think I could sell as many furs in hoops for a wall too use up all my beavers . I have been getting 250.00 each a beaver oval and 175.00 for coons skin rugs . Of course I get 100.00 for skunks and 25.00 for opossum blankets . But I felt good knowing I could sell 10 or so a year . Now I’ll have 30x the calls and no place to sell pellets ... and it’s hard too trade for rights when you got to charge money for nuisance beavers .

It's not really a level playing field trapping beaver is for beginners , honestly think about it how hard would it be for someone to find you if they put a trap at your front and back door of your home hopefully he's using them for something or atleast selling them.

Everyone saying shoot em. I can't help but laugh. You will be losing money with each hole in the pelt. Blunt force trama over the head will save your pelt and you will still have a perfect pelt for sale.
