TRAPPER J OUTDOORS “FLAIR” when he traps an animal and he goes to dispatch the animal DO NOT shoot it in the head bc it will bleed all over SHOOT the animal in THE “LUNGS” you will have no blood or anything and the animal will stay clean and look nice still I promise you this works I tried it with my trap sets whenever I’ve caught something and it works I picked this technique up from TRAPPER J

River otters are so cute tho. I would have a lot of trouble seeing one of them in a trap. Feeling the pain. That's why I'm not someone who uses traps. I simply don't want an animal to suffer. I hunt with a bow and rifle. Nice catch tho

I used to trap and skin when I was a kid in the late 1970's. Back then raccoons were getting $35--$50 a pelt!!! Catching and skinning 3--5 a day I made ALOT of $$$ that season especially for a 10 year old. I bought a BRAND NEW Kawasaki KD-100 for $600 back then

I understand that in different places animals are more scarce but where I live otters are on every lake, river, and pond. I found it funny when he said it was kinda big because that would just be a small to regular sized otter where I live, that could also be due to what food is in the area but still cool catch.

my parents have a lake house and otters come in groups and can take out tons of fish, bird eggs, baby birds, chickens, pheasant, etc and are considered pests for a lot of people with lakefront property, ponds, etc

I'm surprised nobody's talking about the fact River Otters are a threatened species in Nebraska (-_-) . The Nebraska Game & Parks website clearly states that trapping or hunting of River Otters isn't allowed in the state.
