The sound of rain hitting a tent is to me the most soothing sound I know. It totally relaxes and also has a healing affect. You look like someone who is at piece and harmony with there surroundings and you break the silence once in a while to make a statement. Perfect mix. Luv it. When I go camping I can feel the stress leaving my body. It’s infectious. Your videos are awesome.
I like how You have balance with dialogue & times where You don't say a thing. I think You've got it pretty much spot on. Nothing worse than watching a video where someone just babbles on for the sake of talking. Really enjoying Your content. Luv the Rain 😁

Even though Bruce isn't on this adventure, it doesn't make this video any less entertaining. Bruce is a great addition to the team and it's also pretty fun to randomly see him darting around in the background of various shots.
Regardless, I enjoy watching all your trips in entirety and taking mental notes from you when I can. Although I can't say I will learn all the tricks cause if everything went perfectly then it's not really camping.
Another excellent video. They've certainly become a firm favourite with me. Many thanks Tony for taking the time and effort to post them.
Watching you eat reminded me of the teacher’s room during my 25 minute lunch time! We bit and swallowed, chewing wasn’t ‘t an option! Most teachers gained weight after a few years because junk was faster to shove down your gullet!

What a cracking camp!! Excellent! It appears we enjoy the same things in life...mixing the finer things with the raw outdoors.. I love your tarp set up, great job of setting that up .. so you can sit under be right next to the sounds of nature.. the rain being number 1 of course, I think its because the sound of the rain while you stay dry and warm is a comfortable feeling of winning the challenge against Mother nature. I don't know how much I can watch you suffer eating very crispy burnt salmon or the fuel going out nearly at the end of you cooking. Also that thoroughly noisy interruption to your thoughts being broken by the thunder of rain on your sweating tarpauling. Love the videos, have been binge watching for past two weeks since I found them. One question... what do you do with all the food waste to prevent any critters (bears where I'm from) from bothering you? Only problem with your videos is that it normally puts me in the kitchen at midnight for a snack after watching! Keep them coming and enjoy the rain!

There's no better sound than the rain on the tarp! I suffer from insomnia and that is the only way I can get some sleep. I take the family camping and I think I'm out in minutes when the rain comes. Thanks for the free therapy my friend! Missing Bruce.. he's quite the character.

Hey Tony... I really enjoy your video.. it's been raining here the past few days ... when I am trapped in the house like this... I love watching you tube.. I watch all of Survival Lily.. and a lot of DIY Projects... Then I came across you and Bruce... Loved listen to you stories.. you brought back some memories... I used to love to sleep outside at night was so awesome when it rained... My Daddy was a produce farmer and he had a huge pole barn.. with a tin roof... stacks of hay and crocker sacks stacked in the far back...that is where I would hang out at night... I sure miss those good ole days.. just wanted you to know I am right there with you we all are.. . I miss Bruce tonight... It's kind of scary out there tonight... Thanks for these videos they're very relaxing, especially when it's raining and your cooking. Do you not have wild animals where you're at?
To keep water from dripping down the tarp hang a string through the hole also stops rain from wicking down your tarp ropes. It hits the hanging string and drips down the string and stops there.
I live in the west coast of Canada and it rains like this year round. I absolutely love the rain but it made camping a drag LOL I wish I had a better attitude back when I did camp.

You could take a Tyvek foil to protect you against dirt and moisture from the ground. It weights just a few grams and is very rigid.
Yes, I have tyvek too. Bivy is so much nicer though.
@@ABCampingTony Place your Bivy on a Tyvek blanket, makes cleaning easier. Protecs against holes, and nearly no extra weight.
