With my husband, we waited 6 months before we had sex because I felt there could be more than just a hook up or sex friend. But, on the first date I asked him what he was looking for and he said, ‘Someone to introduce to his mother’ - he had me at that point.
If I had a first date be so rude to ask, "What do you want?", my reply would be, "to leave". First dates are about sharing and learning. It's about getting to know each other. How can I say this guy is right if I know nothing about him? If the date goes really well and there is obvious emotional chemistry, why not take it back to the hotel to try out the physical? If both are great, then follow up another date to see where it leads. An open mind and open heart will lead us where we need to go.
Thank you for your comment! We believe Sean referred to the "first few dates," rather than just the very first date. Some gays on dating apps may already be in relationships and are simply seeking friendships, while others may only be looking for fun. We hope this provides some clarity!
no one rule when it comes to love, romance , date & relationship... just go what you feel is right. things will unfold naturally... no pressure... lets not complicate it.
To be honest this is not about dating and long term relationships in the gay community but merely about the culture of hookups and casual sex in the community. The host should be clear about the parameters of the topic especially when both guests were introduced as being in stable relationships. Instead ‘dating’ is diluted with hookups/ons preferences and experiences. Dick shaming and voice shaming ain’t helping either and only highlights the worst of gay culture imo 🤷🏻♂️.
Exactly. If you need sex on a first date (more so a good one), you are not even looking for a proper relationship. FWB at best. This is why the best normal and healthy gays do not go to gays/bars clubs often or are even on Grindr.
OMG SPONSORED BY JACK'D!?! YAASSSSSSS 🤩✨ And omg, I've been following Hugo and his husband for such a long time, but this is the first time I get to hear things from his perspective. Thanks for having him!!
We’re thrilled that you enjoyed hearing Hugo’s perspective-it’s always great to see familiar faces from a new angle. Thanks for following along and for your support! 😊
I think Hugo was just being frank about his preference. Some like muscular, some like chubs. Some like tall, some like shorter. Some like chatterbox, some prefer silent types. Not Everything is about discrimination.
Interesting topic, actually, it's kind of summarized most of the dating scene today. the impulsive like Ron, The follow the flow Hugo , and the anxiety overthinker Sean. I'm a little like sean, I usually think of everything , when it hasn't even begun. My friend said, one word, just let it happen, it's not that bad. .....I'm trying to,
7:20 Sean, it is you. The advantage of being gay is to have sex to find out immediately if the other person is compatible in bed before we commit our heart into a relationship
Wow what a good looking ep😍 Refreshing to hear some new perspectives and is it me or is Sean looking more buff?! Anyway thank you for another entertaining podcast!
We're glad you enjoyed the episode and the fresh perspectives shared. We appreciate your support and look forward to bringing you even more entertaining content! Thanks for listening! 😊
I agree sex is important. But is it so important that the relationship is all about sex and nothing else ? No wonder I observe many of my Gay friends are rather promiscuous and they find it hard to maintain a relationship. Is it not possible for gays to see the other partner and the relationship more beyond SEX.
With all respect, for several reasons, this episode is not my cup of tea, but I’m definitely still anticipating for more interesting episodes though! I’m also with Sean about not having sex with someone straight away if I’m genuinely interested in him.
Where are the other hosts They are funny and more representative of SG boys But these hosts are more hunks like on jackd so better not alienate people who are not hunks.😊
Funny that you talked about alienating people when your comment is doing the same . I think it's great that the hosts changes from time to time so you get different perspectives.
Thank you for your comment! Just to clarify, this episode explores the gay dating scene across Asia, not just Singapore. That's why we had co-hosts from countries outside of Singapore. Hope this helps!
What kind of dater are you? Fast and impulsive like Ron / Hugo or slow and calculating like Sean?
like sean. exactly what he said, if i had sex the first date meaning i dont see that guy in a long run....

Hi
They feature two gay guys that come from pretty much the stereotypical gay social life, the shallowness is expected.
Great new set, great new hosts. Keep up the good work Sean.
finally 3 mics🥳
@@stefanigallage8139 We have come a long way 😂

is it just me or i find the malaysian guy are the most real living in reality
I didn't know he's from Malaysia. It gives Singapore vibes so much based on his IG
Becoz Ron is living in sg 😂
❤ to all of you. Stay well and do well . 🫰
Thanks
haha, the thumbnail cropped the middle guy away, good taste to keep the left one
Good to see new faces.

Uhh discriminating against the "gay" voice when he himself has the same voice...hypocrite much
I think Hugo was just being frank about his preference.

Never really liked this guy. Bad representation of the community.
Actually I mean my own voice, people usually think I should have manly voice but I sounds super gay🤭
@@Hugotw You sound just the way a gay should be and it's totally fine
@@angelliu168 Thanks, but still many gays don't like my voice. But it's ok I'm confident with my voice now. I love my gay voice
哈哈 Hugo很敢讲😂
敢講是一種台灣精神✨

Coz I was very nervous bruhhhh 😂
what kind answer is that hugo?
biggest challenge in gay world is voice.. the Heck ! he is in different world with us..
I mean my own voice, many gay people don’t like my voice 😅
7:20 Sean, it is you. The advantage of being gay is to have sex to find out immediately if the other person is compatible in bed before we commit our heart into a relationship
The host has confused dating with hook-ups ( one night stands ).
Hugo is so frank & funny.
Ron is good looking & attractive. No shortage of admirers.
Wow what a good looking ep😍

FYI: My biggest challenge is people don’t like my gay voice, not I don’t like gay voice. I got rejected many times due to my voice.
Same Sean. Sex @ 1st meetup = lust-driven.
Don't cancel me.
Asia??? even if you put SEA also abit hard to fathom when the ppl inside cannot even represent most parts of SEA let alone ASIA.
7:22 Sean is definitely a conservative.
