When round balers first became popular when I was dairy farming in central MN, we had a Vermeer dealer 4 miles away.
What I noticed was Vermeer bales seemed to have the least amount of surface touching the ground compared to other brands 40 + years ago.
The bales from a Vermeer reminded me of a basketball inflated to the max as they sat in the field.

504r is the best baler out simple strong and reliable had a super I for many years and it's still rolling today
