I just bought one. Thanks for showing how to use the frother. However you mentioned its not travel mug friendly? Depending the size of your travel mug, the bottom piece where the cup sits can actually slide out. 🤗
I appreciate the video. We are not real savvy when it comes to latte. We thought that our frother was not working correctly as it seemed like there was not that much foam like what you would get at Starbucks. We then experimented with 1/2 percent, half/half and heavy whipping cream. The 1/2 percent had more actual foam, however, you could see the separation between milk and foam. Half/half had foam with a creamy texture. The line of separation was not that visible. The heavy whipping cream looked equal to half/half, but waaaaaay too many calories. When I chatted with Keurig, they suggested skim milk for more foam. Something about not having to breakdown the fats. After this experiment, we feel the creamy texture of the half/half was best. I'm guessing that froth is different than foam.
I run a 10 oz. with just water to heat the cup until my milk has been heated and frothed. Dump water out and brew the shot of espresso. Comes out nice and hot.

I was so irritated when I first got it because I thought for sure it didn’t work with this model even though it said it did lol

seems like a waste of a kcup to make a latte. If the kcups were cheaper i'd say sure, give it a go. Just got one of these as a gift from my husband, but really don't think I'll be using the "latte" function too often. Especially if the quality is "mcdonalds." Gross.

Yep, add cold milk and it gets hot and frothy in less than 3 minutes. I love it!
Anne-Marie Freeman it was cold to start of with. The frother heats the milk and it is pretty warm
If you can use room temp milk, I would. The cold milk comes to just more than Luke warm.
I agree the layout makes big importance for me also, sometimes I even pay more just for better color and design.

The frother only runs for like 15 seconds and I have to keep sending it through and it doesn’t froth the milk no matter how many times you run it
It depends on what milk you use, some milks will not froth. I have used 2% and oat milk and both frothed perfectly.

Is it true single serve like the OG model, you have to refill it every time, or does it have a reservoir like the 2.0 and more recent models?

Had for 4 months the latte shot now gives you about 6 oz. 6 oz 10 0z, 8 oz 12 oz, 10 oz you get 14 oz. I would not buy this keurig.
