Thanks Guys. I find it so interesting how so many people dis beach diving and after reviewing video taken from such a heavily dove location and seeing so much marine life its puzzling. Whats even better, It's FREE !
Thanks Bob, I can't wait to get back and do some more. The lights are from Salvo. They are twin 35 watt HID's with large reflectors. I love them. Keep up the good video work, John walker
Great, the surf has picked up a little in the last day but the visibility is still fair. Santa Ana's are keeping things warm in So. Cal. You should have a good time.
your welcome. I shot some new video a couple of weeks ago when the Santa Ana Winds were blowing. Vis was about 35'. I haven't edited it yet but intend to. Thanks again, John
i just tripped so hard to this: load this vid up, then mute it. in another tab load up "Alice in Chains - The Rooster". Hit play on the Rooster then quickly switch tabs and hit play on this vid. turn up the volume and make the video full screen. it syncs up so well, especially the orange fish in the beginning.
What kind of starfish is that at 4:45? I've been diving SoCal for a while now and I've never seen one like that. Was it crawling or was it just the current pushing it along?
No. its a game refuge. If we killed creatures there we might as well change the name because diver would eventually quit diving there once the critters are gone.

Dog, I'm diving there tomorrow with my instructor.
Do you ever look for lobsters there? and is that near corona del mar?

Is Laguna a safe and fairly good place to dive? I just don't want to run into any predators, I dive there in 2 weeks.
Nothing is safe. You create your own safety.
