Got the Tablet on a Shopee Sale and with all honesty, it feels a bit sluggish on my end with its 60hz refresh rate but somehow smoother than those cheaper 60hz phones. The processor was a bit shady as Huawei never disclosed what processor this have but tech-infos says its using Kirin processor which is 13%-30% slower than Unisoc T606-T616 which is present in the Blackview tablet. Other things I noted too was that using Brave seems lag. Priced at PHP 12000 (without voucher) for 8GB + 256GB, I can say that there are other tablets much worth and better on this. Nevertheless, I am rooting on the longevity of this tablet.
I tried it and I can tell that yea! it is going to be a perfect fit imo! its big screen makes things clearer, and it is generally user friendly, so it is also supposed to be senior friendly + it is smooth, so it won't bother him with annoying lags etc. this is my opinion I hope it helps you
If u can stretch your budget go for matepad 11.5.. I have one and no regrets love it! Tip: just installed a paperlike screen protector thank me later 😊

Hi Argel! I got curious after reading your question so I went on and tried it out. Sadly, this one doesn't support wired output thru USB-C to HDMI. Battery life on this is pretty good. As for the speed, expect it to get most tasks done. Far from being blazingly fast but decent enough for a budget tablet. Microsoft Office 365 works but I've only mainly used Google apps which work well on this. I hope this helps! 🥂 - Andre

Hello there When you open the device you will not see the google services but they are available in the Huawei store so don't fraid you can download them without any problem and work very smoothly , the device is not very good for gaming it will run mane games in 30 or 40 fps like pubg and cod , and no don't have magnetic strip . Yes the device have plam rejection available in the Huawei pen that give it as a gift with the device of 8gb ram . The device is very very good.

But, upon closer inspection on an actual photo posted by one of their buyers at Shopee, Huawei's 6GB model is only equipped with Kirin's 710A CPU. ...which is a roughly 5-years-old CPU that's been "mated" to a 2024 unit. I wonder what's on their 8GB unit, though?

No, it didn't affect the pen function. The pen responds very well and I didn't feel any delay. It's just slippery which I think is normal for any glass screen. After a few sessions of writing, I got used to it. I'm considering getting a paperlike or magnetic paper screen for a better writing experience but still looking for the right screen size.

For those wondering no it doesn't have the capacity for live streaming through stream yard or zoom etc. it's a huge shame but true. Please look elsewhere if looking for a device that offers these features.
