    Burger king is actually quite cheap becoz it wants to gain more share in the fast food market where McD and KFC mainly play in. As a consumer im happy to get a lunch combo (1 double chicken burger + 1 medium fries + 5 chicken nuggets + 1 medium drink) for 20RMB.
    Metro is cheap too. Even if u travel for 40km the cost may be 8RMB i guess, while maybe 40RMB in HK

  • @ipfreak
    @ipfreak 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    well, the cost of food from those fancy food courts usually at least double the prices of other regular places. so if you ate somewhere less fancy, you can easily cut off 30%~50% of food cost.

    I understand you compare RMB with USD but USD value is increasing a lot for the last 2 years. I suggest you to use other currencies as well.

The vast majority has no idea how much most people make or how hard they have to work to make what they make. when i visited, i thought to myself woah $4 subway ticket, cheap...... but yeah. $8 round trip for anything for avg people isn't exactly cheap for local.

    Go to Coco park or City mall and have a beer for 75RMB and pizza for 130RMB... Go to some fancy pub or steak house and have steak for 300-600RMB. Go to some good club in Futian or Luohu and drinks cost similar to London clubs (50-100RMB shot, 150-200RMB cocktail). So my point - not all Shenzhen is so cheap. Btw, FamilyMart - my favorite! No.. I live in a small city in China where GDP per capita is like 1/3 of Shenzhen. Food price is almost the same as Shenzhen.

    It is white mushroom soup, by the way, until now, you eat only the fast food ,it is not expensive and it is not really delicious, you need to have a chinese friend who can bring you to eat the good chinese food.
