This reminds me of the time my grandma accidently hit a car, we were both freaking out, people that we were gonna do a hit and run. My grandma parks her car, I'm waiting in the car, and she came back to tell me what happened. The man who owned the pick up truck (the one she accidently came into contact with) came out, heard everything, saw what happened, and he was not angry about it. He just calmly told her to go home and rest, don't even pay him, and God bless her. That was the nicest and calmest guy she ever met.

Then the mom was diagnosed with very late stage cancer so within a short amount of time she went from a somewhat normal highschool student to becoming the primary caregiver for her 3 siblings and helping take care of her mom (there were family members/ medical carers helping, but she still was very involved). She also had to start homeschooling so she could work. Some nights I would find her trying to finish school work after we closed, so I'd send her home or drive her home so she didn't have to stay late, and I'd close the place down alone. I didn't mind. If anyone treated her like the karen in that video, I would have torn their faces off. You NEVER know what someone is going through. Especially a CHILD in the workplace. How fucking disgusting of that woman.

Depends on who you talk to man. Imo the real Karens are the ones that yell at you to wear a mask/stay 6 feet away when there are no mandates (where I live anyway). I can’t wear a mask. My mom can’t either. We both have serious vomiting conditions (CVS) that are specifically triggered by either stress or, as we have found out in this pandemic, lack of fresh air. If you want to protect yourself, I do not give a damn. That is your own right to do so. But do not force me to do something that will potentially send me or others in my family to the hospital, christ. Depends on who you talk to man. Imo the real Karens are the ones that yell at you to wear a mask/stay 6 feet away when there are no mandates (where I live anyway).
I can’t wear a mask. My mom can’t either. We both have serious vomiting conditions (CVS) that are specifically triggered by either stress or, as we have found out in this pandemic, lack of fresh air. Not everyone who says the whole “medical exemption” thing is lying. I can’t travel when mandates are in order, I can’t go get groceries for longer than like, 10-20 minutes, basically, I’m fucked in so many ways due to the whole mask thing. I can’t constantly afford grocery delivery, it’s $5-10 per order in fees. I am on EBT, I can barely afford my groceries as is. Plus, at least at my Whole Foods, stuff you can buy IRL with EBT, a lot of it, it claims it isn’t EBT eligible online. It’s bullshit and literal lies. I cannot afford to wear a mask 24/7.
If you want to protect yourself, I do not give a damn. That is your own right to do so. But do not force me to do something that will potentially send me or others in my family to the hospital, christ. If I’m not judging you wearing a mask when I think they don’t protect in any capacity, you shouldn’t judge me because I can’t wear one. Please.
Not saying y’all all automatically feel that way, I’ve just noticed that a lot of people automatically call someone who can’t/won’t wear a mask a Karen. I agree the way they handled the situation in most these clips is gross, and proves they honestly just wanna control the situation. It just sucks because people like those Karens make people like me, and my mother, with legitimate health issues around wearing masks specifically, suffer, and look totally nuts/entitled. I just wanna buy my groceries without feeling like I’m going to fucking throw up, jeez.
