If i crack UPSC and if interviewer asks me this question on how can I face challenges, my answer wud be, i have failed 6 years continuously in 10th class for only 1 subject maths, after that i cracked SSC chsl and now i have cleared pre and mains, i think i have proved my point

I have been thinking the best answer to this, since I was a kid. Since UPSC is my dream job. Even this evening. And then I saw this video. You gave me some crucial data to attach. Thank you.
My why 1. I don't need to glare on my screen for the rest of my life. 2. I don't need to waste my time attending late night US/UK calls, I will work in my own time zone (10 to 6 pm) with my own people. 3. I don't need to do work from home, even if there is war going on, I will always have my own office. There will be no restriction on me in terms of COVID or anything else. 4. I don't need to do shit like time punching or tempo sheet filling etc anymore. 4. Wherever I will be posted, I will be the boss of my section or wing or department whatever. I will not have a jerk who is constantly bugging me from 10 to 7pm. 5. Once I will clear civil services I don't need to sharpen my hard skills like coding, prepare for interview skills again and again. I may need to sharpen my soft skills like negotiation skills, communication skills etc. So I think my why is pretty decent.

This is normal. It happens to everyone. It is good that your mom is asking, it shows she cares about you and is setting your mind in the right direction. You dont need to give a correct answer. Just keep studying whatever you like or find and that itself is a good thing.
Yes, I didn’t get convinced by these answers myself because several other professions provide the same things. But he’s the one who cracked this exam, so probably this is what is adequate. He clarified this by saying that it is like every other profession, so no extraordinary answer is required. Since, the competition is very high, one may need to seem a little distinct from others to make an impression. So I’m torn between he said and how unconvinced I was by these standard answers.
