It's weird to see Kathy with Pete not Phil if you never watched the old episodes. You see the show goes from gritty to unrealistic and Pauline has less and less family, Lou, Arthur, Pete, Michelle, Mark. Leaving only Ian and Martin whose marriage she tried to ruin. You can see Pauline got her opinions from Lou
Anna Wing was such a transformative and convincing actress. For her real life persona was anything like Lou Beale. Away from the square Miss Wing was an elegant, sophisticated well spoken lady. Certainly takes you by surprise
This is when i watched it when it was entertaining down to earth people do i still watch it no i haven't for years
“Best they’ve seen since my Albert” thank god she’s not around today as she’d be eating humble pie 🤣🤣
Such an electric scene - EE was very ‘real’ at the start, lots of believable family conflict
"I'm going."
"No you're not going, I'm throwing you out!" LOL
Yes and next time through the bloody window lol
Terrific from Kathy ! Go girl 👧
Yes the best written kathy when it hit the 90s she became poorly written she left the series I think though then glad she recently returned
She was out of order.
“‘Allo who pulled her chain!”
Lou lost the battle but you can’t say she didn’t back down for it either! 😮😮😮
David and Simon were more around 22 and 23 at this time.
Kathy was so great when she was a Beale. She lost some of fire when she became a Mitchell because she couldn't boss Phil around like she did Pete
She’s still a Beale tho. She came back a Beale in 2015. I know she’s married to Rocky now but I’ll never call her Kathy Cotton
@@joey-xq3eiyes her best years was until she married Phil in the 90s she became weak but now the old kathy has returned
Absolutely brilliant
Yes and if she comes back kathy will throw her out the window lol brilliant
Wow, 2 weeks before i was born.
2 weeks after I was born!
So you’ll soon be the same age as Pete was here 😂
@joey-xq3ei it's a depressing thought 😂
Lou the Ena Sharples of Albert Square
Lou was great lol
Pats first reference and David wicks’s first reference
Just realised Ian and David Wicks are half brothers.

Jeez, that jumper Ian is wearing looks like the old WHSmith logo 🤣
The original Nana

Haha that taught her.🤣🤣🤣
Bloody hell kath that was rough
But soo funny that line
How is it interfering to be there for your sons? Kathy was stupid to say that.
Init 😂
@@kailewis6520 No she said Pete can see his other sons whenever he likes & some people might think interfering is wrong.
I'll have a tea?!... Cheeky cow!, Kathy's about to sit down to her (actual) tea!.
Jos and Toady 😀 are the best
Damn Lou Is so rude but funny
Ian still does
Pete 40?? Ha he looks closer to 50 there.
The actor in real life was 46
@@kailewis6520 PETER WOULD'VE DRAGGED YOU AROUND BY THAT LITTLE GOATEE YOU HAVE.
And kath was 32
Everybody looked older back then even the “teenagers” 😂😂
@STEJTHEGREATEST she was 29 tuning 30
Kathy called Lou mum and the way she resented her and also after Lou's death was terrible
Hold on even as gaffs are made with Lou referring to Ian as ‘Adam’ at 1:10
She said "start on at him" I believe.
Yep, I heard that too...definitely Adam.
Nah, she says, "Don't you start on at him again." If you're from the East End, it's pretty clear.
Don’t start on at ‘im again I heard
On at 'im. Not at Adam
Pete Beale was a bit of a twit, wasn't he?
