I dunno man. I havent read the translation or watched the series, but I have seen many people write fanfics about them as a pair-in a relationship! I was so revolted like wtf is happening. But most of it was based on manipulation and misplaced feeling of gratitude..no true love. I think Scorpion King looks upto his 'adopted' father a bit too much, always looking for his approval (at least it is like that in the drama). So many people assume the Zhao Jing manipulated him and well..was abusive with him, in milder words. Fans' imagination runs wild..but I dont think there was actually anything more than the weird and abusive father-son relationship between them. I had been so confused at first but now I can totally understand how people may come to that conclusion.
