Dragonslayer Skruk is now on the 2nd place of Trump’s Worst Enemies with 13 deaths (a few having been cut out of the video), beating out Chrommagus (10 deaths) and Sapphiron (11 deaths). The only boss which Trump died even more against was Maloriak from The Hidden Laboratory of Blackrock Mountain with 15 deaths, making Skruk the boss which Trump struggled most with in almost 5 years.
What the hell? Do you really keep this statistics? :D

To be fair, with all the cards we have now it can be extremely easy to defeat all the bosses in heroic nowadays. I would even say that the team has made mistakes on the heroic side of this adventure not making it hard enough (Rot being an obvious example). The only reason Trump died agains the dragonslayer is because he wanted to win with a meme deck.
If Trump had just attacked on the first turns with the dagger against Skruk instead of passing and missing 3 damage he would have had the game at exact lethal, lol.
Or played a 4/4 a turn earlier he went like 3 turns playing the 1/1's
The shadow reflections of the Shadowcasters would have been more damage over time if he'd realized they would be at their standard HP and attack.
Or used Flik as more than a bench warmer. Would've put Skruk ahead in fatigue.
Or if he didn't just... not hit face for 5 at 34:20 for some reason.
There was a misplay on almost every turn of the game. Trump missed at least 200 damage over the course of the game, and did an extra 10 to himself.
At 34:19 Trump didn't attack with the vilespine and shadow caster, this 5 damage cost him the game
No he misplayed 20 times that game that wasn't the sole reason lol
Recycle one healbot and he can win... Trump is really bad at playing milling rogue.

@@polyfoxgames9006 he also didn't use the rouge's dagger turn 2/3/4 and didn't use any mana during those turns except for turn two dagger. Technically would've won there too but hindsight is 20/20
There was a lot of ways he could've played that better, like using the Shadow Reflections summons rather than Shadowcaster's 1/1s.

That 2nd phase was a surprise, never got to see it because chromies hero power was too broken. Kept powering up my taunts and letting the echos build in power.

I was losing my mind watching him play rogue like that vs. Skruk. He made so many bad plays over, and over lol
I beat Shruk on my first try using a Hunter deck with all poison minions, and Deathstalker rexxar for value generation. I’m glad that for this wing, you actually have to craft a deck to win, instead of just being able to win with ladder decks.

Akali is Life, Akali is Love I wish they would revamp the Deathrattle one like Trump said- just trigger the Bosses deathrattles. The boss was a cool encounter, but hilariously easy with even the most basic deathrattles. I nearly solo’d him with just Nerubian egg.

Mill rogue works absolute wonders against him vanish removes all the buffs on the minions same with sap and can sometimes clear his board if you give him too many cards, he eventually runs out of minions and your healbots and shark/bran make up for the arrow and any early minion damage
Step 1 pick mage and stall with freeze and drow card's step 2 mana bind step 3 Alexstrasza in to 0 mana arrow = Easy WIN.
when trump is on the penultimate fight and there's 50 minutes to go, you know something went horribly horribly wrong...

I remembered a custom card, being a dragonslayer weapon with the total damage of 12, was reviewed by Trump, and now we have the Dragonslayer's Greatbow made by Hearthstone devs, which also has 12 attack.
Did the devs team watch Trump Review Custom Cards?

@@ruscygunche All of them, presumably. The fandom is a fantastic source of inspiration - and warnings of what not to do. Game development is easier with a couple thousand minds thinking for you, and it's usually not smart to grow entirely out of touch with the fanbase.
As for immortal prelate specifically, it functions identically to queenslayer, a custom card Trump also reviewed, which was in turn inspired by the kingslayer weapon from a few expansions before. Blizzard shuffled some numbers around to better fit their view of what would be balanced, and there's no telling whether they came up with it individually - but the parallels are there, and there are more examples beside.
I feel like skyshiv/mossy horror is really good vs the ship fights, cause if you skyshiv a weapon you don't want em to have, they just can't use it and probably lose about 3-6 cards at the same time

Tip to defeating most bosses (even Chenvaala): exodia Mage. Did it first try on most bosses. It's just the ship battles you can't use it :P.
30:00 so the opponent's hero power is literally give +1/+1, with an empty board why the hell would you not attack with rogue dagger? Anything that comes down on the enemy side can't be killed by the dagger.
Wow and he just continues to literally not attack and refresh dagger for a few turns afterwards.
I saw him not attack for a turn and was like: "Is he gonna kill him with only fatigue?"
And then he attacked the turn after and I was like "Misplay then"
Then I realised he didn't save any heals for the fatigue phase.
Then I saw him missing 3 health off killing him
Trump might be a good player, normally. But he and Kripp are the only hearthstone players I consistently watch that also consistently makes me grow gray hairs.

People talking about all the ways he missed lethal vs Skruk.. It's because he did a million mistakes. Playing 1/1s instead of the 4/4 shadowcasters with spare mana, missing attacks with dagger, missing minion attacks.. He probably wouldve overkilled him by a hundred damage if he played it well

Skruk has to be the hardest boss they've ever made where you get to bring your own deck. Especially considering how deep the card pool is now compared to old bosses.
I ended up winning with mechathun lock, cutting things like mortal coil and defile for cards like doomsayer (works really well if you time it right), one treachery for a doomsayer combo, a twisting nether, a siphon soul, 2 plague of flames, and reno jackson to heal after he does his big hit (hopefully you've drawn a ton of cards by then), and 2 owls to help against that frickin' rat pack. Rat pack and kodo riders are the big bads.
He double kodo rider'd me at the end for 26 total after I cleared his board AND played thaurissan. Drew the last card of my deck. Played Mechathun + bloodbloom + cataclysm with only 1 hp remaining due to the bloodbloom + cataclysm dealing 3 to me.
Crazy shit.

at 43:38 is where trump basically started to throw the game, he didn't use Vals shadow copy for placing 4/4's but kept making 1/1's - I thought i point the time out for people who wantd to know where trump downfall and got tunnel vision was on before he realized he needed bigger bodies
also wtf "i don't need healbots" nothing to gain by wasting them like that. got me pulling out my hair out with that one.
He also missed attacks worth more than 3 damage earlier in the game. He also didn't shadowstep healbots which could have made him survive another fatigue. There were many "downfalls".

I don't understand why Trump didn't just put Alexstraza into the deck. As it sets it to 15 health and then you're done. Kripp did it on numerous bosses like this.

Man, I watched that massive fatigue skruk game, thinking that trumps lack of damage and skruks immense hp pool could mean he wins the fatigue game. Its a good thing he has healbo- oh, ok then. Don't keep your only method of healing in a close fatigue match, sure.

This adventure is so flaccid they may as well have just given players the cards. Zero challenge and strategy with powers like "take an extra turn", great design with cards like "deal 25 damage". I can really see where all that money that didn't go into Reforged went. I know this is Normal, not Heroic, but come on, Naxxramas and Blackrock at least required some thinking on the player's part, but I guess back then Hearthstone devs had some enthusiasm.

for me u beat him with pogohopper. he plays a 28 30? doesn't matter you play a 54 54. zilliax it and full heal every turn.

I just used exodia quest mage to beat all heroc bosses except the battleship fights. For those I used obelisk quest priest. EZ every time.

Can someone explain to me about how dragons at least in Hearthstone(not sure if the rest of WoW does it too) are like, they are sapient beings, but sometimes treated like animals like what the fuck is this dragon-taming thing about, also dragon breeding, like that’s kinda twisted dragons are a people and some of them were like gods, and beating down a being with free will and then putting a saddle on it?
