That was pretty much my first run. I went mage and had a super OP hero power machine gun with like 3 Jan'alai and ran into Loti who had that "when you gain armor refresh your mana" shrine and got OTK'd from her playing every card in her goddamn deck in a single turn including double Ultimate Infestations and Gonk.
I had the same but different experience. I managed to outcontrol Loti. With 6 damage 0 mana hero power it was pretty easy though I also had the hero power freeze guy to help.
Most of the abilities with this text trigger multiple times if there are copies actually, you see this with the warrior teammate which doubles your armor gain and some of the shrines as well like the shaman battlecry one. I think that the text isn’t meant to work like it does when there are multiple copies of the discard shrine, but I think that they got most effects in
If you think that is bad you should have seen the board built by jeklick turn 2. 2 5/6, a 3/3, and the teammate because of the discard shrine and the rush over kill discard card.
Dude, turn 6 loti has a fucking 6 mana 10/10 "overkill: your hero gains 10 attack this turn" don't even get me started on the FUCKING 5 MANA SUMMON THE HIGHEST ATTACK MINION FROM YOUR DECK. I'm pissed whenever I see Loti

at 5:00 thats a classic trump play, holding off on attacking for three turns so you can value trade in case its explosive trade, then when you can value trade attacking face in case it's not explosive trap! Trump is making some quantum level optimum plays here.
I love these dungeon run single player events they've been doing. It gives them a chance to print insane cards without stressing about balance so much. And growing your deck to be super OP is a lot of fun. They really do make the final bosses pretty punishing though.
The Rogue Shrine 0/2 steal a Card from your Opponents Deck is so good. That Shrine and Everlasting Devotion means your opponent wont have a Deck after 5-10 turns.
I had Zuljin with a Shrine that gave him a secret everytime he plays a Spell, and he plays secrethunter, it was a very short game since every time i did something i triggered at least 2 shrines.

It seems like everlasting devotion is treated as a spell you cast at the start of the game. With that in mind the shrine copies the spell giving you 3.
Yeah that minion is like if a Drywhisker Armorer and a Raigeki from Yugioh made sweet sweet love and this is the result. An 8 mana 4/10 result. So it's like a 2 mana kobold PLUS A 10 mana effect (kill all opponent's minions) which is so strong it doesn't even exist on a normal card. PLUS A 5 mana 2/8 body. (4+10=14, 14/2=7 mana average cost at 1 mana per 1/1 of stats- the 2 mana 2/2 kobold stats= 5 mana for 2/8 body). So yeah, basically it's an 8 mana card that's actually worth about 17 mana. Still not as broken as Ultimate Infestation, but almost.
I chose rogue class and there was a weird interaction. towards the end i chose start with an extra copy of your shrine, and then i guess it counts as a spell so it casted twice so i got 3 shrines lol. then i got that priest elixir that comes with an extra effect along with +2/+2. so it was +2/+2 and summon a 1/1 copy of a minion, which of course casted twice, so i ended up with 5 shrines. i thought it would be good but spells only casted 1 extra time for some reason even with 5 shrines, they stop after casting 2 times and i only had 2 board space available so it was actually bad lol Edit: just watched the rest of the video, guess trump got 3 shrines too lol

neeed a shrine tier list, the discard warlock totem is probably the best one in rumble run but i wanna keep my sanity and no subject myself to self damage paladin again, and having to use overkill hunter
The only good thing I've found with 3 shrines is shaman spell reduction, warrior drum and akalis armor shit. I haven't played all 27 shrines or what ever but those 3 are nuts
their is a funny turn one game win with High priest thekal where if you pick the warlock totem that makes it so if you take damage your opponent takes it instead.
Really sad that the extra shrines didn't stack. Like you cast 1 razor petal, casting 2, both triggering the second shrine, casting 4 times, which then triggers the third, casting 8 times. Would've been a lot of fun.
Yeah seems bugged to Hell to me. First off, the effect that doubles your shrine should not be a spell because it's SUPPOSED to give you 2 of them, not 3. There is no way that interaction was planned. It needs to be recoded so that the shrine doesn't affect it, or it's just broken. Also the wording says each one gives you 1 additional cast on the same target... there is no reason they shouldn't stack, but they don't. Spaghetti code from a Small Indie Company (tm).

I also some it doesn't cast your spell to the third power because you don't cast the spell, the totem does. But you'd still imagine that having 3 would at least trigger the effect 3 times, casting the spell 4 times in total. I totally get that it would definitely be broken if they stacked, but who cares? The single player should be more about fun where it's 100% possible to break the game. So I hope they eventually fix this for the better

And it would be less of an issue if their game effect wasn't randomly a "spell" when it should have just been a game effect. They did that with the Lich King solo content too... how his cheating power at the beginning of matches are also spells. It's entirely possible to coin out a lorekeeper cho or something and steal the Lich King's power. Or maybe even counterspell it somehow. They need to put in a new class of card that doesn't count as a spell but acts like one. Just call it a "system effect" or something similar. It shouldn't trigger other cards.

I feel like the shrines interactions is wrong. it says that spells activate one additional time, so three shrines should make it 3 additional times.
