I just wish people didnt think me adding them on tekken or steam would make them think i'm trying to trash talk. I just wanna run the match up a lot more cus i respect their skill with that character :/
While playing and both are connected, If one of Player DC (whatever the reason) the other Player should stay online, while the other "AFK" and lose the Game with Rank Score effect. Easy.
I feel like the only reason of the plugging complaints is mainly due to the lack of repercussions for the disconnecting player. Once they fix that, no one’s gonna care if they disconnect because why care? They disconnect, they get punished, you keep your win streak and points (or gain points) and go on to the next match ad nauseam.
I understand that sometimes the internet can cut out or a blackout may occur. But this is the exception not the common reason. They should penalize all disconnects, accidental or not. It is what it is.
Drives me crazy when I get plugged on the recap screen. Watching the points get added and then I get the "connection popup". Bye bye points bye bye win streak. But the developers have said they are looking at solutions including banning repeat offenders they just want to make sure they are safe from a legal standpoint before they go that route.

The rage quit use to be fun, you could send messages saying “lmao rage quitter” and now we can’t really do that on PS5 with settings. Now it’s just annoying
I am stuck in the red ranks and let me tell you I still need to work on my fundamentals, match ups, combos/conversions etc. So much to learn and improve in Tekken which is what I like about it so much! So many ppl these days care abt looks and “ranks” lol it ain’t that serious

I feel people only do one match is because they are using flowcharts and such. And when you finally get used to what they're doing they back out. They want thr easy win achieved from lack on knowledge.
Yes in MK1 you do lose points for quitting in Ranked. Tekken 8 online is a mess, already in Day 2 you got boosters, and it's already full of of them plus pluggers and hackers. I barely touch MK1 Kombat League because of lag switch cheaters, but Tekken 8 makes MK1 Kombat League to look perfectly fine. And that's just ONE of many problems that Tekken 8 has, along with lack of variety in single player content, story mode being super flawed, Replay feature being broken and customization just being copied from Tekken 7.

when I used to seriously play 1v1 ladder in warcraft 3: the frozen throne, I always found that I learned more and got better when I lost.

Seven competitors have disconnected from matches as of one week ago and I was only upset that I did not get the points for the wins.

how do you boost in tekken 8? you can only rematch two more times assuming you lose one
