On the flip side, black people feel Islam is for Arabs. I was so scared to call a mosque and talk to the Imam, I kept calling and hanging up before I actually completed the call! LOL! Yes I agree a hundred percent. I never ever considered Islam as a possible religion for me. For me it was always the religion of the Arabs or something. I simply didn't know. Well this year I reverted to Islam but only after living in Malaysia for a few months. I think he is so right, we need to bring Islam closer to "white" people.

It's a thing in the US for (esp the Left) people to claim that anyone who doesn't look like a Viking to be "not white" or a "person of color"...this is happening with the MENA push, to claim that otherwise white Arabs and Persians are somehow not really white (similar to how Latin Americans are categorized in the US). Ethnic whites, who derive from the original birthplace of white people (Todays Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Armenia, etc) learn when they get to the US, they all the sudden are not "white". Same with Latins.
America in my opinion is just filled with division. Coming from a white Muslim American myself, I always been looked down upon by other race but since I took my Shahada during Ramadan this year, I don’t care what other race think of me. But a lot of white people in America in general would either be scared of me or look down at me because they assume that I’m a foreigner because I have a speech problem from birth because I was born with a disability. So it is clear that all human beings who are born (created by God s.w.t) must be in accordance with logic, automatically a Muslim. but according to history, we human beings who have been given minds have deviated and worshiped other than Allah, that is why Allah said. send prophets and apostles to invite men to their respective eras who have forgotten their nature as worshipers of Allah SWT. I am southeast asian,,,,brown is mine,,,but islam is not about colour,,it is about you just believe in Allah and muhammad is his messenger,,and I just worship Allah ,,5 times a day night, ,,fasting in ramadhan for a month, paying zakat,,and going to mecca/ hajj if you have a lots of money and phisicly good. It wasn't until I met a Bosnian Muslim woman who owned a restaurant in of all places Des Moines, Iowa--she told me that Bosnians Muslims were indeed Slavic people.

Book 008, Number 3425: 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (puberty) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared. Book 008, Number 3427: Umm Salama said to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her): A young boy who is at the threshold of puberty comes to you. I, however, do not like that he should come to me, whereupon 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: Don't you see in Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) a model for you? She also said: The wife of Abu Hudhaifa said: Messenger of Allah, Salim comes to me and now he is a (grown-up) person, and there is something that (rankles) in the mind of Abu Hudhaifa about him, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him (so that he may become your foster-child), and thus he may be able to come to you (freely). CIRCUMCISION The Qur'an never mentions circumcision. The practice of male or female circumcision comes from the Hadith, Shariah and the consensus of Islamic communities. The Hadith Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. (Abu-Dawud: bk. 41, no. 5251, Hasan) MENTAL CAPACITY The Qur'an says that the testimony of a woman is not equal to that of a man. It says that the testimony of two women is required to be equal to the testimony of one man. Call in two male witnesses from among you, but if two men cannot be found, then one man and two women whom you judge fit to act as witnesses. (Qur'an 2:282, Dawood) Why is it that the testimony of a woman is only worth half that of a man? Muhammad explains in the following hadith. Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a women equal to half that of a man?" The women said "yes". He said "This is because of the deficiency of the women's mind." (Bukhari: vol. 3, bk. 48, no. 826, Khan) Above all remember reward of 72 juicy virgins only for men, women will have to pleasure their own cnuts.

There have always been "white" people in Islam, many Muslims from Eastern Europe and also Western Europe, many reverts who come from a "white" western European background for hundreds of years. There are already white Muslims in Europe for hundreds of years. Bosnia, Albania, a part of Serbia, part of Montenegro, Turkey also has white Muslims. Guys, Muslims in Balkans are there for HUNDREDS of years! It's not a new phenomenon. Do your research and stop asking every white Muslim when did you convert.
You’ve got to understand it from a cultural psyche perspective, a lot of first generation economic migrants wouldn’t have come across a lot of White Muslims due to their social surroundings I.e. mainly living amongst their own kind ethnically... As a person of Asian background, second generation it’s not an out of the box experience for me to see White Muslims and Alhumdulillah I don’t suffer from revert fascination, but what I do admire is the journey of a soul to reach Islam and in principle according to ones struggle is ones reward, with that in mind I understand the greater level of conviction as compared to those who’ve inherited Islam through being born into Muslim households/families. I'm always happy to see a white muslim and an Asians because I know they dont get as much dawah and its always exciting to see when they are and it show that we as humans dont give guidance but it is the creator of the heavens and the earth .
It was just his view and his experience, and probably its like he said in his surroundings. So please brothers and sisters not attack him for that, its not that he cursed someone one OKAY. I can totally relate. I'm a white British sister I took shahada in the early 90s maa shaa Allah and I had varying comments mostly consisting of in a week you will be back to yourself. Alhamdulillah nearly 30 years later I'm still practicing. May Allah bless you on this beautiful Deen and keep you strong always. May you be a form of dawah for people. I can definitely say when people have got past the stage of realising I'm not Syrian, Algerian or middle Eastern and they here my brummy accent. Well this year I reverted to Islam but only after living in Malaysia for a few months. I think he is so right, we need to bring Islam closer to "white" people.

It's a thing in the US for (esp the Left) people to claim that anyone who doesn't look like a Viking to be "not white" or a "person of color"...this is happening with the MENA push, to claim that otherwise white Arabs and Persians are somehow not really white (similar to how Latin Americans are categorized in the US). Ethnic whites, who derive from the original birthplace of white people (Todays Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Armenia, etc) learn when they get to the US, they all the sudden are not "white". Same with Latins.

America in my opinion is just filled with division. Coming from a white Muslim American myself, I always been looked down upon by other race but since I took my Shahada during Ramadan this year, I don’t care what other race think of me. But a lot of white people in America in general would either be scared of me or look down at me because they assume that I’m a foreigner because I have a speech problem from birth because I was born with a disability. It wasn't until I met a Bosnian Muslim woman who owned a restaurant in of all places Des Moines, Iowa--she told me that Bosnians Muslims were indeed Slavic people.

She said: How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) smiled and said: I already know that he is a young man. 'Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are): Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) laughed.
Book 008, Number 3425:
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (puberty) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared.
Book 008, Number 3427:
Umm Salama said to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her): A young boy who is at the threshold of puberty comes to you. I, however, do not like that he should come to me, whereupon 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: Don't you see in Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) a model for you? She also said: The wife of Abu Hudhaifa said: Messenger of Allah, Salim comes to me and now he is a (grown-up) person, and there is something that (rankles) in the mind of Abu Hudhaifa about him, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him (so that he may become your foster-child), and thus he may be able to come to you (freely).
BEATING
Muhammad beat his wives.
... He (Muhammad) struck me (Aisha) on the chest which caused me pain ... (Muslim: bk. 4, no. 2127)
Muhammad's companions also beat his wives and other women.
... (Umar) found the Prophet sitting sad and silent with his wives around him. ... (Umar) decided to say something which would make the Prophet laugh, so he said, "Messenger of God, I wish you had seen the daughter of Kharija when she asked me for extra money and I got up and slapped her on the neck."
CIRCUMCISION
The Qur'an never mentions circumcision. The practice of male or female circumcision comes from the Hadith, Shariah and the consensus of Islamic communities.
The Hadith
Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. (Abu-Dawud: bk. 41, no. 5251, Hasan)
MENTAL CAPACITY
The Qur'an says that the testimony of a woman is not equal to that of a man. It says that the testimony of two women is required to be equal to the testimony of one man.
Call in two male witnesses from among you, but if two men cannot be found, then one man and two women whom you judge fit to act as witnesses. (Qur'an 2:282, Dawood)
Why is it that the testimony of a woman is only worth half that of a man? Muhammad explains in the following hadith.
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a women equal to half that of a man?" The women said "yes". He said "This is because of the deficiency of the women's mind." (Bukhari: vol. 3, bk. 48, no. 826, Khan)
Above all remember reward of 72 juicy virgins only for men, women will have to pleasure their own cnuts.

You’ve got to understand it from a cultural psyche perspective, a lot of first generation economic migrants wouldn’t have come across a lot of White Muslims due to their social surroundings I.e. mainly living amongst their own kind ethnically...
As a person of Asian background, second generation it’s not an out of the box experience for me to see White Muslims and Alhumdulillah I don’t suffer from revert fascination, but what I do admire is the journey of a soul to reach Islam and in principle according to ones struggle is ones reward, with that in mind I understand the greater level of conviction as compared to those who’ve inherited Islam through being born into Muslim households/families.

I don't find this at all. I'm irish, so obviously I'm white, when I'm in the mosque nobody looks at me different. There are white Muslims all over the world and entire white countries that are Islamic.
