- Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is lovely, think about these things. Philippians 4: 8 is a guide for our minds, and is important for us in staying away from anxiety and fear, and locked in to God’s promises and plans. Bill Johnson teaches from Jesus’ example and mindset as He faced the Cross. The enemy works to distract us with anxiety and fear, but if we will choose to focus our minds and thoughts on what is true and good, we will not be shaken even when facing difficult situations.

When my children were home and wanted to watch TV, I had a 9x13 piece of paper with these verses on. If the TV program met that criteria of what ever is true, noble etc. They could watch that program. Even we adults should do that. 😊
