1.6% between tourer and limousine seems off. From my tests (average from almost one week driving both) difference is about 4%. And from my experience the weight does have less negative impact for consumption than the shape of the body going through the fluid or mass of air. Especially when driving more or less constant speed.
Who uses seat-heating when you have 23 degrees on climate-control? On my cars (ICE) I have it on 20 in summer and 24 during winter (and it get cold here in Norway). Seat-heating is only used for a few minutes after starting of car and not pre-heated. Is it pre-heated, I don't use seat-heating. It is cold when it is below 0 degrees C, above that it is only chilly.
If you put everything into balance it's a good car. It does everything well and the design is not overdone or getting in the way of practicality/efficiency.
@@mikael3201 I would like no screen at all, just a place to put my phone once or twice a year when I go somewhere I don't know. Just buttons to turn on useful functions, pure driving, no distractions.
204 Wh/km at 130kmh for the Pro Tourer in top weather (19-23 degrees) seems a lot... I thought it would be more efficient (like around 180-190Wh). In comparison the 217 for the S Tourer at much lower temp seems comparatively better.
Finally someone with real world test and left side driving
2:53 "And speed limit warning, no body needs that" LOL
Great test, thank you

It is 171 vs 178 Wh/km according to VW between the 19" sedan and tourer Pro S on the Autobahn. Yes, this would be 4 %
What a great looking car. And VW won’t bring it to Canada because our American neighbours hate wagons.

Is the big battery available on the saloon as well?
Yes it is and it should even be a bit cheaper.
What are the charging speeds fir the ID7,ID,4?
The peak is 175 kW with the 77 kWh batterie and 200 kWh with the 86 kWh batterie.
I never liked the ID series tablet design approach, it makes it look cheap.

I don't mind the 13" Enyaq screen.
@@HanYou2 Fair enough, but I still prefer a more integrated screen design, like Audi do/did.

But no heat pump again....Errr Volkswagen..no wonder youre in deep troubles....
You can get it with a heatpump, only worth if you want to add like 30km of range, not worth it to save money
The car in the video has a heatpump. 😉

compared to what?
@@HanYou2 more efficient than 204 Wh/km ... obviously ... like 190 or so ...
You think 6 degrees is top weather? Or 204 being bad at 130? Tesla troll is a tesla troll, always.
Is it better or worse than the Pro?
3:43 It was freezing cold 😅
@@lp3860204 was at 19-23 degrees. for the Pro Tourer. Reading tables correctly is an advantage before insulting people 😂😂😂😂
124km less in winter? Yeah, i will wait more for an ev, not for me.
