This weak i get my 2 older C4, downloading the image and that takes a while. Want to ask, is the display connectet to the raspberry via HDMI?

You have perfect timing. I’ve been working on a new major update to the code. The new code has the ability to double inject (for bigger shot sizes) and also double eject (for parts that stick to the ejector pins). Lots of bug fixes too. I’ll post the software somewhere when it’s done.
Oh, to answer your question, I just the official Raspberry Pi LCD touch display. There is a special ribbon cable that connect the display to the Pi. Ribbon cable comes with the display. Makes rock solid.
      Good luck with your build.

Is that software available to buy? I have an older c4b and could possibly upgrade with this controller.

Yep, the software is available. However, the software is VERY expensive. To receive a copy you must agree to send me a video of your machine in action. That's it. Agree to that and software is all yours.
Here is a link where you can download a image for a Raspberry Pi: jimk3038.com/
After downloading, use the image with something like Etcher to make a boot-able SD card for the Raspberry Pi.
Hope it works out for you,
      Jim

@@ericstratten6974 My web site sucks! I rebooted it today and so far so good. Something about the e-commerce stuff on one of my other web sites keeps crashing. Anyway, let me know if keeps giving you grief.

@@DanBDougherty All written in Python. My actual code is rather small. However, my stuff depends on a Python GUI called Kivy which can be a pain to install. That's why I built the SD-Card image with everything all setup and ready to go. Problem is my goofy web server is brittle and prone to crashing recently.
I'll put my Python code up on my server tomorrow - as well as look to see what's making my server crash.
      Hope that helps...
