Caitlin Clark becomes first ever 2x winner of the Sullivan Award

Caitlin Clark is the first athlete in the 94-year history of the James E. Sullivan Award to win the honor twice in their careers.
The Sullivan Award is given to the best amateur athlete in America.

There is a movie, One on One, (1977) which I think shows glimpses of what might have happened to Caitlin if she attended UCONN instead of IOWA. Auriemma's penchant for producing Diana Taurasi's, Sue Bird's, Maya Moore's and now Paige Bueckers would have been challenged with a Pete Maravich/Caitlin Clark type of generational talented basketball player.

Caitlin Clark will put the spot light on her Indiana Fever team mates the same way she did with her Iowa team mates. Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall, Hannah Stuelke, Molly Davis, Sidney Afolter, etc. became household names. Caitlin Clark and the 2023-2024 Iowa team rock. So will the 2024-2025 Indiana Fever team.
