- This is our GiANT SK252D mini skid steer we got for our tree service. I noticed there are not many videos on these machines and if someone is considering buying one for themselves, they would probably like to see how one is operated as it is different from other brands of mini skids in its weight class such as vermeer, ditch witch, bobcat ect...
So, here you go! Hope this helps. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
If anyone would like me to do a video explaining in better detail, all of the pros and cons as well as an unbiased review of this machine touching on various features, like this comment and when it hits 10 likes I will make the video. Hope everyone has a great day! Thank you for watching and supporting my channel.
would love to see a complete video, man! thanks!
@holiveiraification 10/4 i will put something together soon. It's been a little over 2 yrs now I guess with this machine and theres ALOT I could say about it.
How jerky it runs also depends on how you operate, but there is a soft brake available that will reduce the jerk when you suddenly let go of the drive.
I agree. 100%. I've ran it so much that now I am just as fast, smooth, and efficient with it as any other mini skid. I am interested in this soft brake you mentioned. I will have to look into that. If you have any other info on it let me know.
Which kind of work are you doing most with the skid? Would you recommend or buy it again? Thanks and noce vid!
Tree work. Yes I would recommend it 100% 👌 only drawback is maintenance is tricky. But overall it's a beast of a machine.
what was the price? Would like to have something lighter than my 3500# mini.
$30k
How do you like this machine?
I love it. As far as performance goes at least. Maintenance can be difficult as it is pretty involved. My BIGGEST complaint with this machine is the tire situation. The tires that come with the machine are the best ones, but they are ALMOST impossible to find. It has been a nightmare honestly. Trying to find others that match the dimensions and capabilities of the originals is VERY DIFFICULT. Tracks would maybe be a better option but GiANT doesn't offer the option to switch after purchase. The machine must be purchased with the track option. According to them.
The handling of the machine is VERY jerky and sensitive so if you are not VERY alert and in tune with the machine, it is easy to flip one and possibly hurt yourself or others.
