If you watch my video""1986 Mercedes 300e W124 Purchase gets a New Voltage Regulator"" It shows the Voltage when the charging system is not working 12 volts when idling Not Good. It should be about 14 volts with the engine running. Your problem COULD BE the Voltage Regulator in the Alternator. If the Diodes in the Alternator are bad then you have to change the alternator.
The Alternator was not charging the battery. In a previous video I showed what a Working Alternator should show on a volt meter in Volts. With the all the accessories on. and OFF.
@@itcanbedone4721 Good evening Sir. Thanks for your answer. I will check the video you mentioned. I got a 250D. When I test the alternator work on battery it seems okay.(about 13v to 14). But when I drive my battery got low and low battery warning light is ON (and ABS one of course). from France
@@antonmk1244 I rewatched my video Titled "1986 Mercedes 300e W124 Purchase gets a New Voltage Regulator' How old is your Battery?? If you look at my Video After I changed the Regulator in the Alternator It read 14.3 Volts. Before you change the alternator Check out the Battery First. That's my opinion.
@itcanbedone4721 The battery is a recent beautiful Bosch. So... Tomorrow I may check the cables, especially the + one from alternator to battery. I also may test B+ on alternator. You may be right. I may have to replace the regulator on alternator, if i could find one with same Bosch serial number (or I may buy one which is not made by Bosch).
Do you have a Digital Voltmeter to confirm to voltage readings? You say the battery is recent. If Changing the regulator does not help, The Alternator is bad. @@antonmk1244
Excellent video. If possible, could you make a video on how to remove the starter?
I'm Sorry. At This Time my Starter Still Works fine. When It dies then I will make a Video. Until then.
@@itcanbedone4721 No problem! I appreciate your videos. Thanks 🙏
Thanks a lot. Very useful😃
Hello ! Is that 12 volt or 14 volt 70 amps. I have similar problem on my w124 230 E and I need to order One Alternator as well . Thank you

what is that module you are transferring at 13:00?
That's the Suppression Capacitor. It cuts down on electrical noise on your radio.
Why did you change the alternator?
What happened exactly?

What size is the bearing on the alternator pulley
What do you mean by bearing size? Please be more Specific. I just removed the Nut holding the pulley with an impact wrench.
@@itcanbedone4721 yea I just trying figure what size the bearing is to take it out I think I only got a 14mm
@@jalenroze6848 You will need a 22 MM Socket to remove the Pulley Nut. Went outside to check with a set of sockets.
