An excellent 1/24 scale Mercedes G4 staff car model kit. The addition of the figures gives the finished model some extra dimension. For anyone who travels to Germany for summer holidays, the is a Mercedes G4 on display at the Auto Technic Museum at Sinsheim near the Northern Black Forest. There are also many military vehicles on display and some military aircraft; especially a Stuka wreck recovered from the Mediterranean Sea near Marseilles. ICM seem to be matching and bettering Tamiya with the inclusion of figures with their model kits.

Enjoyed the review. Those figures are quite something. I would buy that kit just for them. I've got the ICM leaders car (kit no 35533),on the pile to do at the moment . The tyres are in five separate pieces for that!. Good to see you back in the chair. Looking forward to seeing the next review.

I hadn't noticed this was 1/24th. BTW. We were all shouting "Noooooooo! it's the briefcase handle!" (Nein! Das is der Aktentaschengriff!) Just in case you didn't hear. As for diorama suggestions, I would say a cobbled courtyard outside ze little Café would be appropriate, On the back seat would be a framed copy of Die Madonna mit den großen Brüsten.

I like ICM kits. Great instructional material, and great plastic for building.
The figures are outstanding for clarity, and sharpness.

Great review as usual.
The ranks of the figures, the adjutant is a captain (two pips on shoulders). As of the General i can see he has two pips on the shoulders so he's defently a General (as Gen of Inf ect) defently not Field Marshal.

Great review and a fair score l might have given it a bit more but you're the one holding the plastic, nice idea to do a military vehicle in 1/24 the level of detail really does pop, l will definitely be getting this one it will be nice work with something bigger for a change 😃something l can just wear normal glasses with and l hope as you said that they bring out more in this scale 👍
Looks to be going for 30-35 quid online. That seems good value.
I believe the baton indicates a Field Marshal
I think this kit will be a keeper for me. I build 1:24/25 scale cars and this is right up that alley. It's the original Rommel's Rod.

I would have liked to have seen ICM provide the hood in both the open and closed positions.
2:42 : That stiff standing to attention driver is somewhat out of place on a field trip.
7:47 : IA is a civilian number plate. It's a shame they didn't provide military numberplates (WH, WL, WM) also.
