I work for Dick’s Sporting Goods, and this past week we had a presentation online from the top baseball brands about the new, upcoming stuff for 2021. And on the slides about Victus bats, they gave you guys a shoutout and quoted you on saying the Vandal is “The best light swinging bat in the game”. I like how I've been watching your videos recently but it just reminds me i can hit a ball consistently out of the infield
I used to swing a heavier end load 32” then went to a balanced 33” and loved it. I’m more of a contact hitter. And everyone always said I swung a small bat for being 6’1” 200 but I wasn’t a power hitter I was a good contact hitter that got on base a lot especially batting 2nd all the time. It makes a difference with lighter and longer.
I was a lead off/2nd batter all throughout high school, looking to get back at it at the cages. Been looking at the voodoo and voodoo one but unsure on which one to go for. Was also a contact hitter but not really sure i wanna pay another 50 for the 2 piece, never really used one before so i’m pretty used to a one piece already but interested in trying a two piece lol
Keep in mind i havent swung a bad in closed to 5 years

So I now know why I am popping the ball up to the right side. I moved from a 32 meta to an 33 voodoo one and I would hit absolute nukes sometimes, but other times I would hit pop ups that would be caught by the first baseman or right fielder. I learned a lot from this video. Thank you bat bros❤️❤️

Hey guys, want to say thank you for the videos! As a dad with three boys in baseball and so many bats, you are my go to. Last years meta review sold me and you didn’t disappoint. So I want to ask, which would you pick
33/30 the goods or 33/30 voodoo one?
Really depends on what your sons like, if your son is capable with swinging a heavier end loaded bat you should get the goods, if not voodoo one is a great choice

If your son wants a VERY hot bat you should look to find one of the old Louisville slugger raids in bbcor. I’ve had the goods and the voodoo but I still think the raid is the best.

The swings are so much better with the 33 and this video shows exactly why I always preferred a shorter bat and would even choke up at times in my playing days

I’m reaching out to the guys who know best. I am stuck. I’m 14 almost 15 prepping for my highschool season. I’m about 180 6’4. And I don’t know what to swing. Coach thinks I should go with a much shorter bat(like a 32). But recently I’ve been absolutely launching the ball with a 34 aeroburner hybrid. Would a 33 be the right choice? You guys know best.

i just got a 33 as a sophomore and just taking a couple swings off tee to get used to weight and length with a balanced weight and its a huge jump
I play at a 5A school and our 3 hole hitter swings a 34” Meta and he committed to University of Texas as a freshman and he hits 400+ bombs in games with it

I made the huge mistake of going to a 34 this year because I’m 6’2 210 and every chart said to. All year I struggled to get the bat around and went from hitting .480 in 2019 to .275 in 2020

I did this for my son. Hope I didn't make a mistake. He is only in the 8th grade and we got him a 32" Voodoo One for Christmas. He was swinging a 31" Cat 7 prior to that.
For a growing kid it’s a bit of a different story - he’ll grow into that bat

I just got a 34in voodoo one and tbh if a 33in goods feels even lighter than this than my god i want one… bc the 34in doesnt even feel all that heavy to me. I mean it feels slightly heavier than my 33in vandal, but thats already super balanced feeling… excited to get the goods and compare them
Personally I would take the voodoo 34 but I'm 6ft 300lbs and I've always swung a 34in. When I was a little kid I would swing my dad's 30oz softball bat.

Maybe someone can help me here , looking to find my 7 year old son a good bat for next season , was considering the goods single piece. (must be USABAT) He currently has the LV slugger Ohmaha . it does swing a bit heavy , would anyone be able to tell me if this would be similar with the goods? I was also looking at the Axe Bat avenge , but the only ones we have been able to hold were a bit of a smaller barrel . I guess what I want is a more balanced weight distribution with a barrel that doesnt compromise the size . (if that even exists)

I'm curious for a kid swinging a 32 Meta should they move up to a 33 Voodoo or stick with a 32 Goods. My son is a sophomore but is on the small side. 5'8 135. Just trying to get him more pop. The Meta is great for base hits but he's nothing but muscle as he plays football as well so I'm wondering if he's more suited for a end loaded bat. Live in the Houston area and no one has demo bats to try out these days.

Tbh only guys that are really comfortable should swing a 34 you need a lot of barrel control that’s what I use and I notice there’s a lot more power in a 34 than there ever was in a 33

Hey guys I have a question hopefully you guys can answer, thanks to this video, I’m not a big dude I’m only 5’9” but I’ve noticed I two of the same bats one on 33” and a 34”(the aeroburner hybrid) and I thought I felt better with a 33” I even decided to make that bat the one I changed to a flaired knob, then I switched to a 34” and I had a much better contact rate and felt like I could control it better. Also when I swang a 33” i felt a lot more torque on my elbow but with the 34” I didn’t why?
So my son is swinging a 34, and does that b/c of the weight, he likes a heavier bat. So the end loaded bat, even at a smaller length gives that heftier feel he wants even at a smaller length?

I’m 6’3 but with proportionally short arms. I had to swing a 34 from high school on because I just couldn’t reach balls low and away which was where every pitcher was living.
The short arms are as much a blessing as they are a curse though. A.) huge benefit in weight lifting and B.) much easier to be short to the ball even with a longer bat.

My son is 6”1’ had to switch to a 34 Blue Meta also got him a 34 Voodoo One. Just put o choke on them so he still swings them as a 33.
