    *2023: * came across with this video*
    I'm a first year law student. I don't know why but there are two things that I'm utterly glad for:
    1) I've finally found someone whose least favourite module is Contract Law. As Libbie said and I quote, 'nothing against contract law at all.' 😬
    2) Favourite module: CRIMINAL LAW!!!
    That's all I have to spill xx

    Great info thanks! Do you just do one topic (module) per cycle so say criminal law for one week?

    • @libertymiles
      @libertymiles  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you'll be doing all the modules at the same time. So usually 4 at once, a cycle just refers to the topic you're studying at that time (at Exeter).

    Hi love your channel! I’m also studying law, I was just wondering if you could recommend some of the non fiction books you mentioned you had been reading. Ty

    What modules did you do for your 2nd Year?

    • @libertymiles
      @libertymiles  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven’t had them confirmed yet but Human Dignity and Human Rights is my first choice, we only have one optional module for second year in the second term at Exeter :)

    Hi!! I just wanted to ask for some advice! I’m interested in studying law at university however I didn’t take gcse history.I’m taking geography,food tech and business Btec! I’m not sure what subjects to pick at a level if I wanted to study law💗

      Take whatever you enjoy would probably be the main thing! A lot of universities - especially higher ranking ones - do want you to have taken at least two core subjects though i believe, so for example I took English Literature and Biology so try and factor that in! (I.e. science, maths, English lit or Lang etc. you should be able to find guidance on this online)

    Is there a course at Exeter law where you can do a term abroad working in a law firm?

    • @libertymiles
      @libertymiles  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not that I know of, you can apply to do a year of study abroad after first year I believe, you may want to double check to see what you can find on the website

    Hey, do you know anything about/anyone studying the LLB/Maitrise en droit at Exeter? Do they find it restrictive in terms of fewer optional modules?

    How long do essays have to be?

    • @libertymiles
      @libertymiles  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the word count set. First year usually 1,500-200 words, second year looks more like 3000. Will probably vary depending on lecturer and uni.
