Marc did an excellent job creating funny and interesting characters! This series is still one of my favorites!
He was just saying that when he was developing the idea of the main characters Gabrielle was supposed to be the attractive one. He didn't mean to say that the other women of the cast are unattractive since he was talking about before the actresses were chosen.
He literally said "I wanted to have atleast ONE ATTRACTIVE WOMAN IN THE CAST"... Thats unbelieveably offensive
@nina84374 no you just seem to be the type to get easily offended like alot of sad people these days. And you obviously don't comprehend that his idea was that since the housewives were desperate with a bunch of kids they'd be tired and haggard from their lives so they wouldn't be all that attractive while Gabrielle the spoiled model would be one with an easy lifestyle and no kids so she still looked hot. Not hard to understand if you get out of your feelings long enough.

If you see other interviews he LOVES Eva Longoria! He is always all over her and complimenting her beauty. I agree it came out wrong because the other women are pretty as well.
haha he shouldn't have said "at least one attractive housewife" cuz it came out kinda wrong, but i think i get what he was trying to say.
@bribaybayx3 because gabby is like HOLLYWOOD pretty, like why are you on this street pretty. Hes stating shes on another level. Until season 5 when she blended in, get it now?

Are some of you dense? You don't get what he meant? Clearly he was talking about the original idea where she'd be the hot housewife but then casting happened, and you ended up with all four gorgeous housewives. How hard is that to understand? Seriously! Ugh

One thing I'll never respect about Marc cherry stop saying u created desperate housewives because I had a vision BULLSHIT U JUST COPIED OFF OF NICHOLOTTE SHERIDAN OLD SOAP KNOTS LANDING. And I don't have a problem with it if he didn't make it seem as IF he created a show because he is such a great story teller. He took the story of David Jacobs show KNOTS LANDING and RAN WITH IT POINT BLANK 😑👎
