Everything Cartman says about Heidi was actually Cartman. Everytime he says she is manipulative, it's Cartman being manipulative. Everytime he says she is abusive, he is abusive. The problem is Cartman wants full control and everything to be about him. When it isn't he can't handle, and when Heidi wants to fix things he doesn't like it because it means talking about his emotions
Well yeah duh. That's his whole character. Man couldn't go to another kids birthday party unless he got a gift the same time the kids whose birthday got one.
This is seriously one of my favorite episodes, because it uses Tweek and Craig to show two different experiences of a very real, scary situation and discuss how to work through it together, with empathy for both sides. Add two songs on top, one of which is a beautiful bookend for the episode? Chef's kiss.
It is kind of funny to think that Tweek and Craig started mainly as a joke couple, then Matt and Trey wound up liking them so much, they decided to make them official.
I love how every single couple on South Park is unhinged, toxic, unhealthy and chaotic and the most healthy, understanding and caring couple is Craig and Tweek! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This episode and their side plot in the Fractured But Whole video game are the main reasons this is considered one of the healthiest relationships in South Park... but on those, it's justified.
Yes, Tweek and Craig are actually in real romantic relationship. If they were faking, they wouldn't put up the act when theyre just the two of them and any time in the series after the Tweek and Craig episode when you see them together, Tweek isn't tweaking out and Craig is actually smiling in most of the scenes. Even their terms of endearment and how they act is proof enough. To solidify it, 40 years into the future, after they left South Park entirely, the two of them are married.
Heidi Turner used to be named Marcie, in the episode where Cartman starts a church and Kenny is lost in Mexico, her dad was killed by the falling wood plank. She was renamed and now her dad is a buff ass blonde dude, we see him in the episode when Butters pretends to be a girl to steal the Cootie Catcher.
That was when Heidi was just one of those characters in the background where nothing was permanetly cemented. So its not like she had other parents where one of them died and then gets adopted. Since a lot of the characters look the same or are doubles
Tweek and Craig went from being one of the most disturbing relationships, where two kids forced themselves to be together to please the town, to one of the healthiest. All because Matt and Trey realised a pretend relationship is sort of a dead end for the characters, but if they later became an actual couple, they could tell way more interesting stories.
I was initially made in the episode Tweek and Craig because the whole town shipped them and they had to pretend. But I think they ended up liking each other. The fact that Craig calls Tweek honey and babe when they're alone. And still being his boyfriend at an amusement park in Denver where no one would know they're a "couple". Of course you could say they're playing the long game to keep their town happy but I think its genuine
@Jodyjo99 I don't listen to radio lol. I explore music on Spotify controlled. And listen to Spotify Playlist only during drives. The only logic song I know is homicide lol
"help, my teenager hates me" is a banger episode it's a nice change from the whole story line episodes of south park and kinda goes back to its original roots boys come across something, it turns into a conundrum and then it gets solved in a weird yet wholesome kind of way
I know a young person who has a friend who pulls the “I’m gonna kill myself!” crap. The friend came to support her at an event (sure) and within twenty minutes the friend was screaming at an ex and left. She spent the rest of the night texting the girl that she was “gonna do it.” The poor girl didn’t get to enjoy her event at all and was scared to death. Next day the friend was fine. Another middle aged person and I had a chat with the girl whose event was spoiled. We pointed out how this behavior only happens when someone else is in the spotlight. It’s the FOULEST manipulation. For people with real suicide ideation or intent, it’s HARD to just say, “I’m having a bad day,” much less share the horror of their full thoughts. And people who throw threats around like Eric in this episode just so everyone will feel bad for them make it WAY harder.
This episode highlights the issues of people being too obsessed of what people say on social media and they get so distracted they end causing disasters around them. Like the whole texting while driving. That was on a rise during 2017.
You know what I just realized is that this is exactly how Tweek and Craig met. Because the boys were putting words in his mouth to manipulate him and Craig into fighting.
Man, I'm so grateful you uploaded this tonight. After a rough day, this is exactly what I needed to break the cycle of thinking and just have fun for a minute. Appreciate you big bro
I'm glad Tweek and Craig became an official couple because their relationship is one of the healthiest I've seen in South Park. Craig eventually learned to stop problem solving Tweek's emotional issues and let him vent so he'd properly feel better.
People say the later seasons of South Park have less charm and aren't as funny and whatever, but personally, I don't really see it. This episode is one of my absolute favorites!
this episode is pretty decent. But overall I do have to say thats true. They started way more on the political grind and the partisan ruins it a bit. They try to keep it even but their bias heavily shines through whenever they do anything political.
I think it was more about the start of Tegridy Farm. It had some funny episodes but the focus on Randy was a stretch. But now I think the episodes really feel like south park (and this episode is also on my favourites since Craig is my favourite character haha)
God I love this episode, I think it’s my favorite. Tweek and Craig have been my favorite characters since the literal late 90s and them getting together is my single favorite thing to ever happen to the show lol. I just love that Trey and Matt put them together as a joke and then loved it so much they turned into a real couple. And the single healthiest couple in the show, at that.
I'm not a fan of rap music, at all. I'm more of a rock and metal guy. But Cartman's rap was great. Your right, he could be a famous rapper. At the very least, after also going murr with his Christian Rock Band Faith +1, he's a legit musical genius lol

What Craig did to Tweek is a common thing that happens with couples. One person wants to just fix the problem rather than talking it through with the other person
That's because being at the mercy of your emotions is literally retarded. It's just people getting off on the emotions, that's all. It's self abusive. Just like how we see in this episode that Tweek just kept going back to twitter to read whatever latest news thing popped up that will make him freak out again. He knows that seeing this stuff freaks him out, and he also knows that he literally can't do anything about it, but he still pursues all of the news just so he can freak himself out. It's the stupidest shit. I'm not happy with how this country is being run. Am I going to waste my time and sanity going to a bunch of news websites to see what latest act of stupidity our Dementia in Chief has done? You bet your ass I won't. I can't do anything to change all of that, so I'm going to focus my time and attention on the things I *can* change instead of letting my emotions dominate me like a fucking moron.
