Nice work Steve works on all rc shocks great mod
Yep! Thanks man!
That's a brilliant idea mate I might do all my shocks with a bit of plastic o ring. What about 1/8 scale will that work or not like team corally or arrma or ftx dr8 that lot 🤔 let me know thanks 👍😀
Thanks, it works with any shocks I been doing this for the longest time. 👍👍
Shocks drive me nuts. Good tip.
You and me both!😁
Hi Steve, thank you for a very nice and cost conscious tip to help seal up those pesky leaking shocks. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😊😉😊
Thank you.
Awesome idea man….👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
That is a pretty good idea Steve. Well done man. I also started thinking of a gasket material of some kind with punches might work. See? You got the gears turning on this one. Thanks for sharing
Yeah I use plastic so it won't scuff the shock shafts make sure your gasket material is not abrasive and it should work also but I don't know if it will hold together long. Thanks for watching.
@@ShenRC Yeah!! Very good point.. ;)
Great tips as always Steve, and nice collaboration with your brother!👍😊
Thanks HD!👍
This looking very promising 💪 thank you very much already for sharing this tip 👍
No problem 👍
That's a great tip. You could get a Yokomo thin shims and try a different thickness.
Yeah your right you probably can find some small plastic washers but most won't have any this is why I just make my own and it's easy so this way anyone can do it with something they can find in the house. Thanks for watching.
The "Shen Smoosh Washer" is totally what this mod will forever be known as around here! Great tip and I will have to keep an eye on mine!
Thanks man! Been doing this for like ever with shock and have other videos on it also. Works like a charm!
Sweet fix! I used some green slime, but after a few hard runs it started seeping out agin
thanks!!
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching.
That’s an awesome tip thank you!
Thanks glad to help.
Shouldnt the shocks move freely in the outer tube? It might stop leaking but shouldnt be too sticky should it?
Hi not if you make the shim the right thickness just to stop the leak if you make it way to thick it will bind to much.
awesome video left a like for support
Big thanks
