Hi Steve, thank you for a very nice and cost conscious tip to help seal up those pesky leaking shocks. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😊😉😊
That is a pretty good idea Steve. Well done man. I also started thinking of a gasket material of some kind with punches might work. See? You got the gears turning on this one. Thanks for sharing
Yeah I use plastic so it won't scuff the shock shafts make sure your gasket material is not abrasive and it should work also but I don't know if it will hold together long. Thanks for watching.
Yeah your right you probably can find some small plastic washers but most won't have any this is why I just make my own and it's easy so this way anyone can do it with something they can find in the house. Thanks for watching.
That's a brilliant idea mate I might do all my shocks with a bit of plastic o ring. What about 1/8 scale will that work or not like team corally or arrma or ftx dr8 that lot 🤔 let me know thanks 👍😀
I did this trick and changed the oil to 60wt.

cool video and tip bro
Appreciate it
awesome video left a like for support
Big thanks
Shouldnt the shocks move freely in the outer tube? It might stop leaking but shouldnt be too sticky should it?
Hi not if you make the shim the right thickness just to stop the leak if you make it way to thick it will bind to much.
