Okay, "It was never meant to be" made me cry qwq It was so emotional and nostalgic 'cause I remember being on this song's premiere and I joined DSMP fandom when L'Manburg was still there
I know a lot of people are taking guesses at Track 11, but I'm going to say that I think it's Tubbo or Puffy. I haven't looked into Captain Puffy lore very much, but I know someone said that "You've taken my kindness for weakness" is a Puffy quote and that the "red and deceiving" is a hint towards the Eggpire. I know Puffy was a very prominent character in Egg lore and has been sort of empathetic towards everyone. However, she went on a sort of Bloodlust arc after the Egg where she was done playing it nice and wanted to bring an era of blood to the server. As for Tubbo, though the "kindness for weakness" quote is a Puffy one, it could also be a literal description for Tubbo. Tubbo has been kind to everyone throughout the server, and constantly his kindness is just used as an advantage for enemies. The "soldier down" and war references also could apply more to Tubbo because he literally took part in the many wars for L'manburg. Also, I know Tubbo has one life left, which is my main reason. Plus, the song says "Time and time again, I have failed to protect those I hold dear to me," and Tubbo failed to protect Wilbur, Tommy, L'manburg (from Doomsday), and now Ranboo. He has lost so much. Maybe this is a Tubbo redemption arc song? Also, though small, Tubbo DID play a little role in the Egg lore, where he was weak around the Egg when Tommy brought him there. I'm in shock. This album is my everything, and I'll absolutely be looping this for the next month. I also love the solo version of Never Meant to Be, it's so emotional in a way that you can't really get in a group song. Thank you so much for this. Love you, PJA :D Happy anniversary, everyone. Two years. Wow. o7 Edit: Just realised- like with I'll Take Care of You, your voice sounds clearer than usual in Hate (Heal). That one might just be me, but the sound of your singing does seem very pure and clear in that song. It's so pretty!! Can't tell if it's got something to do with mic choice or just improving tone-wise, but incredible job!!

I've been up for a while waiting for this. It's saddening, to know this chapter of my life is being closed. At least I watch it end with friends. Some people I know, some people I don't, and some I wish were here. We all raised our flags. For a rebellion, for a regime, or for rivals. It's time to take off our crowns, our helmets, and our tri-corner hats, and pay our respects. All good things come to an end. Be happy it happened, and that it changed you. Okay, I had just gotten back into PJ’s music the other night by listening to I’ll Wait For You in the Dark on loop, and being linked to alive ii last night. It brought me back to this, and I’m really excited! Even the trailer for the premiere sounds amazing, and I just want to say great job to Precious Jewel Amor, as well as everyone else that helped create this. I know I’m late in saying this, but your music is fantastic, as well as many others, and I’m just really excited.
I’m genuinely getting a little emotional, especially as the end credits were rolling, just… my heart. Thank you so much for all your contributions to this fandom, I remember the release of Death Hole (or Tubbo’s song/theme- I can’t remember- as it was known then) and it’s crazy to think you now have two whole albums of DSMP songs. That last little bit of It Was Never Meant To Be just got me reminiscing I guess, but beautiful album.

I remember laying in my room in the dark listening to "From the Blackstone Walls and Beyond" coming down from a panic attack and just looking for something, anything, to ground me fully and bring me some peace. I remember crying and being surprised about it as I didn´t know this kind of reaction from me to anything, especially not something like this. From there, I fully fell into the rabbit hole called DSMP. That album was what really kicked me over the edge into a place that I was just watching from the sidelines before. The Dream SMP, with its CCs and Community, gave me a place to be me, something that said "welcome home, come in and stay". That might be silly but for someone who hasn´t really felt "home" anywhere in a couple years, this is huge. I know me, I know that I skip a lot between interests and fandoms but this is the first time I can seen myself actually sticking to something. I´m not that far into the fandom and still struggling a bit to make friends but to think that all this bascially came from your album is so fascinating to me. I just wanted to say thank you for that. Hi Precious. Hang in there because this might be a long one. I've been a quiet fan of yours for over a year and a half now. I was here listening since you were releasing season 1 songs: I remember watching all the clips of Tubbo discovering Death Hole with elation for you. Your music has scored large parts of the last year of my life: the release of Blackstone Walls came just in time to be the background music for my summer spent cycling around my county. (Sometimes when I'm listening to Friend I Used to Know, I'm back shoving my bike up a hill as I listen for the first time.) The Final Night series got very stuck in my head during a trip to Edinburgh, where it felt special to sing "I know it was the final night" as we enjoyed our last evening among the old buildings and beneath a lilac sky turning black. Your beautiful music brings back such good memories for me, and I am so grateful. The quality too that you bring is phenomenal. To touch on some favourites: Blow It Up blew me away the first time (ironically in a train station haha) as I marvelled at the theatrical quality. To stand on a stage and belt that! Death Hole's understated simplicity was the perfect way to characterise c!Tubbo, and the One Year Later both showcases how much you've grown as a vocalist and instrumentalist, but the bridge and the build?! (Cried the first time.) It really sounds like a Tubbo that's lost it all, and I love the little additions of other motifs in the instrumental embellishments. Lament's "May peace upon us, children of war" section is quite frankly beautifully haunting. Theme of the Abandoned... thanks. Your style being so musical theatre-ish is one of my favourite things because it lends itself to Wilbur's grandeur or the ballad-quality of Nothing To Lose and All Hail The King (which I would lose a canon life to have on Spotify, I adore it and it's sweeping melody). I wish to ask what the instrument is at the start of Puppet, because I am forever enamoured by the instrumental of that song (and the fact you brought the Latin back in Friend I Used To Know - clever!). Letters make me cry, thanks. Saviour is absolutely beautiful - a lullaby of a villain song with the most lovely instrumental details. Your prowess over lyrics shines in Identity; "From one to ninety-four / I wish for this no more" & "They don't really understand, so I won't rush / And my mind keeps telling me to hush". And finally, there's always something to be said about the power of a repeated motif. Taking the 'final night' line from Death Hole and using it as the common thread in the tapestry - whether as the atmospheric refrain, the lamenting cry, a triumphant declaration or the part of I'll Take Care of You that completely bowls me over - is genius and you use it just sparingly enough that it hits hard every time. (Also, bringing back Lament in Our Final Night was unexpected but brilliant and The Other Side of History's return of "You blew up the city, you blew up the memories" but with the accusatory tone. I love it I love it I love it.) Apart from Identity, I haven't heard any of this new album yet. (Allergic to listening to music on YT.) I'm going to go back to my place quietly looping your tunes in the shadows, but I'd just like you to know that we quiet lot have been loving your music for ages and will continue to do just that for ages to come. I can't wait to hear more of your original stuff (I loved Pedestal), and I am very excited to get up for the first day of the new college term tomorrow, as I have a whole new album to fall in love with. Man,so many of these tracks (new and renditions(I think they are called?) Are absolute bangers, I love how the obsidian backdrop pulsated with the beats and even fricken changed colour at points in the song! All of you did amazing on this album, great work, all of you!

This is AMAZING PJ!!!!! -First of all THE PRODUCTION!!! IT IS SO GOOD AHHH -Love the call back in track 2 "finally lived in peace" -I forgot how good the build is in track 3. INCREDIBLE -HATE (HEAL) IS SO GOOD!!! A ROCKET DUO SONG LET'S GOOOOOO. Seriously, this has to be one of my favorites on the album. I love how Niki's part resembles the style of "Nothing Left To Lose." Akoj, pop off with the vocals. -I loved what you did with Wilbur's poem in track 9!! The song is beautiful. The bits you added on were AMAZING! -THE HARMONIES IS TRACK 11 *chefs kiss* -The percussion in track 12 is really cool. I love ticking call back to the first and last tracks on Blackstone. Incredible work as always

Time is an interesting thing. To say that it’s been two years-it feels like simultaneously way too long and far too short. I joined the fandom after the final disc saga, which was over a year ago, and yet I still feel like I’m new in the fandom. It’s weird to think of how much time has passed. I think we’re close to the end, now. Flipping through the final pages, rolling the last scenes, playing the finishing cords of a great symphony. And I’m just about ready for that curtain to fall. Thanks for the great times, PJA. Your tunes have gotten me through some of the hardest parts of my life, and I think they’ll guide me through many more days. I can’t wait to see what you write next. But for now…let’s take our final bows. Maybe this time, it can be meant to be.

The last song made me cry and feel funny for that I don’t forgive you! I loved it! The comparison between the different mix of instruments and vocals in the first one sounded more cheerful more United and this one sound lonely as if someone’s closing a chapter and saying ‘See you later’ for both your sakes. The very first Dream SMP song I ever heard was yours, Death Hole. I become obsessed with your music. This being the last full length album on the Dream SMP is something great. It shows how far you have come. What has always amazed me is what has come out of wild youth playing games and living life to the fullest together. I'll admit, some parts of the famdon have become a bit disappointing. Still, whilst the core of DSMP content creation is slowly starting to wither away, what people take from it is beautiful. Lovely lessons can be found within these roleplay stories. Musicians, artists, and writers have thrived thanks to what the DSMP- and all of MCYT- has made. Gamers too, of course. Progress. That's a huge thing I have taken from this album. I see the progress of you, PJA. I see the progress of countless creators. I see the progress of communities. I see the progress of the Dream SMP itself, and the people in it. What else can I say? Thank you. Thank you to everyone who has impacted everything I listed above.

Track 11 Reminds me of Techno, so does the symbol. The line "Taking my Kindness, For Weakness" Reminds me of when Tommy betrayed Techno..and Him being used by people who want to control him
You probably know by now but Track 11 was Puffy! SPOILERS for the Red Banquet! The line you referenced was during the Red Banquet, when she k!lled Ant. She said quote, “YOU’VE TAKEN MY KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS ANTFROST!” This was after Ant executed Foolish.

Okay, I had just gotten back into PJ’s music the other night by listening to I’ll Wait For You in the Dark on loop, and being linked to alive ii last night. It brought me back to this, and I’m really excited! Even the trailer for the premiere sounds amazing, and I just want to say great job to Precious Jewel Amor, as well as everyone else that helped create this. I know I’m late in saying this, but your music is fantastic, as well as many others, and I’m just really excited.

I’m genuinely getting a little emotional, especially as the end credits were rolling, just… my heart. Thank you so much for all your contributions to this fandom, I remember the release of Death Hole (or Tubbo’s song/theme- I can’t remember- as it was known then) and it’s crazy to think you now have two whole albums of DSMP songs. That last little bit of It Was Never Meant To Be just got me reminiscing I guess, but beautiful album.

I remember laying in my room in the dark listening to "From the Blackstone Walls and Beyond" coming down from a panic attack and just looking for something, anything, to ground me fully and bring me some peace. I remember crying and being surprised about it as I didn´t know this kind of reaction from me to anything, especially not something like this. From there, I fully fell into the rabbit hole called DSMP. That album was what really kicked me over the edge into a place that I was just watching from the sidelines before. The Dream SMP, with its CCs and Community, gave me a place to be me, something that said "welcome home, come in and stay". That might be silly but for someone who hasn´t really felt "home" anywhere in a couple years, this is huge. I know me, I know that I skip a lot between interests and fandoms but this is the first time I can seen myself actually sticking to something. I´m not that far into the fandom and still struggling a bit to make friends but to think that all this bascially came from your album is so fascinating to me.
I just wanted to say thank you for that.

I've been a quiet fan of yours for over a year and a half now. I was here listening since you were releasing season 1 songs: I remember watching all the clips of Tubbo discovering Death Hole with elation for you. Your music has scored large parts of the last year of my life: the release of Blackstone Walls came just in time to be the background music for my summer spent cycling around my county. (Sometimes when I'm listening to Friend I Used to Know, I'm back shoving my bike up a hill as I listen for the first time.) The Final Night series got very stuck in my head during a trip to Edinburgh, where it felt special to sing "I know it was the final night" as we enjoyed our last evening among the old buildings and beneath a lilac sky turning black. Your beautiful music brings back such good memories for me, and I am so grateful.
The quality too that you bring is phenomenal. To touch on some favourites: Blow It Up blew me away the first time (ironically in a train station haha) as I marvelled at the theatrical quality. To stand on a stage and belt that! Death Hole's understated simplicity was the perfect way to characterise c!Tubbo, and the One Year Later both showcases how much you've grown as a vocalist and instrumentalist, but the bridge and the build?! (Cried the first time.) It really sounds like a Tubbo that's lost it all, and I love the little additions of other motifs in the instrumental embellishments. Lament's "May peace upon us, children of war" section is quite frankly beautifully haunting. Theme of the Abandoned... thanks. Your style being so musical theatre-ish is one of my favourite things because it lends itself to Wilbur's grandeur or the ballad-quality of Nothing To Lose and All Hail The King (which I would lose a canon life to have on Spotify, I adore it and it's sweeping melody). I wish to ask what the instrument is at the start of Puppet, because I am forever enamoured by the instrumental of that song (and the fact you brought the Latin back in Friend I Used To Know - clever!). Letters make me cry, thanks. Saviour is absolutely beautiful - a lullaby of a villain song with the most lovely instrumental details. Your prowess over lyrics shines in Identity; "From one to ninety-four / I wish for this no more" & "They don't really understand, so I won't rush / And my mind keeps telling me to hush". And finally, there's always something to be said about the power of a repeated motif. Taking the 'final night' line from Death Hole and using it as the common thread in the tapestry - whether as the atmospheric refrain, the lamenting cry, a triumphant declaration or the part of I'll Take Care of You that completely bowls me over - is genius and you use it just sparingly enough that it hits hard every time. (Also, bringing back Lament in Our Final Night was unexpected but brilliant and The Other Side of History's return of "You blew up the city, you blew up the memories" but with the accusatory tone. I love it I love it I love it.)
Apart from Identity, I haven't heard any of this new album yet. (Allergic to listening to music on YT.) I'm going to go back to my place quietly looping your tunes in the shadows, but I'd just like you to know that we quiet lot have been loving your music for ages and will continue to do just that for ages to come. I can't wait to hear more of your original stuff (I loved Pedestal), and I am very excited to get up for the first day of the new college term tomorrow, as I have a whole new album to fall in love with.

Man,so many of these tracks (new and renditions(I think they are called?) Are absolute bangers, I love how the obsidian backdrop pulsated with the beats and even fricken changed colour at points in the song!

-HATE (HEAL) IS SO GOOD!!! A ROCKET DUO SONG LET'S GOOOOOO. Seriously, this has to be one of my favorites on the album. I love how Niki's part resembles the style of "Nothing Left To Lose." Akoj, pop off with the vocals.
-I loved what you did with Wilbur's poem in track 9!! The song is beautiful. The bits you added on were AMAZING!
-THE HARMONIES IS TRACK 11 *chefs kiss*
-The percussion in track 12 is really cool. I love ticking call back to the first and last tracks on Blackstone.

Second time I've been in a premier chat, first time was on Dropster's song "The Devil" and that song was the first time I've sang out loud unintentionally.
Time is an interesting thing. To say that it’s been two years-it feels like simultaneously way too long and far too short. I joined the fandom after the final disc saga, which was over a year ago, and yet I still feel like I’m new in the fandom. It’s weird to think of how much time has passed.
I think we’re close to the end, now. Flipping through the final pages, rolling the last scenes, playing the finishing cords of a great symphony. And I’m just about ready for that curtain to fall.
Thanks for the great times, PJA. Your tunes have gotten me through some of the hardest parts of my life, and I think they’ll guide me through many more days. I can’t wait to see what you write next.
But for now…let’s take our final bows. Maybe this time, it can be meant to be.

The comparison between the different mix of instruments and vocals in the first one sounded more cheerful more United and this one sound lonely as if someone’s closing a chapter and saying ‘See you later’ for both your sakes.

These songs are all beautiful. I'm blown away. Fantastic job as always, PJA! This brings me so much slightly bitter love and joy. The very first Dream SMP song I ever heard was yours, Death Hole. I become obsessed with your music. This being the last full length album on the Dream SMP is something great. It shows how far you have come.
What has always amazed me is what has come out of wild youth playing games and living life to the fullest together. I'll admit, some parts of the famdon have become a bit disappointing. Still, whilst the core of DSMP content creation is slowly starting to wither away, what people take from it is beautiful. Lovely lessons can be found within these roleplay stories. Musicians, artists, and writers have thrived thanks to what the DSMP- and all of MCYT- has made. Gamers too, of course.
Progress. That's a huge thing I have taken from this album. I see the progress of you, PJA. I see the progress of countless creators. I see the progress of communities. I see the progress of the Dream SMP itself, and the people in it.
What else can I say? Thank you. Thank you to everyone who has impacted everything I listed above.
