Jealousssss, my dad has always hated vocaloid with a passion. When my baby sister was born a few years ago he literally told me not to show it to her so she wouldn't be like how I was in middle school. Too bad for him, I played it for her the very first time I babysat her and her first song was Hello Planet. Now she is 4 and adores Miku and sometimes it is the only way to get her to cheer up or cooperate. Arrow 1, parents 0 😂

    • @johanna_paula

@@Vocalovely hey even though your dad hates vocaloid, at least you can have a bond with your little sister over it. and trust me, she will look fondly on it for years to come because she’ll think of how you took the time to show her something really cool!
i know that’s how she’ll feel because i felt that way when my older sister’s friend introduced it to me over ten years ago and i have loved it ever since. and even though my sister and her friend aren’t close anymore, i will be forever grateful that it is in my life
also, i think my dad likes playing it because he gets to spend time one on one time with me and see how happy playing project diva makes me. we haven’t been able to play in a little while because of his work being busy, but i definitely will be asking him to play soon!!
just remember: keep showing your sister vocaloid and keep making her day, that’s what family, especially older siblings, are for 💖 (it’s also really cute that her first song was hello planet and that she has a favorite vocaloid and all)

There's this cover for Drop Pop Candy that I loved when I was in middle school and it still holds up today, and it turns out he made the UST for that. He's only a year older than me, so he was either in middle school or early high school when he made it, so he was really talented from a young age. He made a lot of incredible original songs in high school too, and his tuning is so unique, and his music slaps.

During my pre-adolescence I felt very lonely and misunderstood and his music, as well as that of many other composers such as hachi and circusp, was a relief. When I found out about his passing it was as if a part of my identity and part of the world of things that makes me feel safe left with him.

@@sephikong8323(sorry, english is not my first language) i agree but i like more hitoshizuku x yama's style (melody & lyrics), and i think their concepts are awesome, like fashion x alice in wonderland or that song about peter pan (portrait of the pirate f or something like that). And my favorites "Seasonal feathers" and the song about sunflowers, they're so sad 😭 don't misunderstand my comment, Mothy is incredible, i'm just trying to give my personal opinion, i would express better in spanish anyway xd

Hope this gives people (esp new fans) a better idea of vocaloid history and how this fandom has evolved. Thanks for making this!
