I'm over 50 been eating Cuda since I'm 11. It aways blew my mind when I hear people say Cuda is a trash fish "I don't eat them". I always tell them, take the snappers and leave me the barracuda.
It's great you're showing anglers that how one dispatches and stores fresh fish makes a huge difference for eating. I've done it with bonita, kingfish, etc and people love it, but before I showed them how they would only use it for bait or throw it back. Next week I'll finally find out how Goliath grouper tastes, see if its worth the tag.
I love barracuda! Although snook are delicious, I feel like cudas just have more flavor! Loving the videos man! The growth I have seen from your channel is really inspiring!!!
What an entertaining video and unique concept. You're alway giving such valuable information. Loved all the humor and that perseverence! Sheepshead v. Cuda - which has the cutest toothiest smile, lol. That dish was a work of art! You know I love snook. Now I'd love to try cuda and the snakehead, two I never thought I would!
another great video. joe & sue public would be surprised how many times they consumed cuda while thinking they ordered grouper or snapper at their favorite sea food restaurant. Really enjoyed Sophia's recipe.
I've lost so many good jig heads and weighted EWGs to cudas that it's kind of satisfying to watch you eat one haha. Btw, it would be awesome to see a video where you target bonefish in the bay
Tyler, if the Cuda keeps eating the tail why can't you hook the tail or up from the tail, maybe at the top? Then I just now saw you use a treble hook. I just LOVE that beard and curly hair!!!!
Amazing that just by the sound you heard, you knew it was a snook going after that last bait 🤯 P.S when you scream “do you see how hard I’m setting the hook” you sounded like the ginger bread man from shrek
@@SunsOutFishing My favorite part of snook is the collars. To me the best meat by far on them.👍🏿 You missed the jetty last week was tarpon everywhere blowing up on shrimp was nuts. I might go tonight.
I really gotta try the collar next time I keep one. Yeah I heard it was going off out there. It’s just a little sketchy in the gheenoe at night sometimes haha

If you ever had a trigger fish had a trigger fish they taste very similar to snook very good eating fish, but hard to clean.
That's awesome! I've never tried triggerfish

Lmao I did sound like that. And yeah dude the snook noise is so unique. Thanks for watching buddy.
Gheenoe tour????
Got one coming soon!
Go back with some Cuda tubes! That might help hookup ratio
Yeah that’s a good idea. Might try that out
no need to set the hook w treble and circle hooks
There were no circle hooks fished in this video but I appreciate the solid advise 👍
White flaky sweet barracuda yummy.tight,lines
Right on! Tight lines to you as well.
I do like snook better, but cudas def eat
Yeah for sure!
Mr cant stick the fish.

@@BryceMarchetto why are you eaves dropping bro not cool😑
Barracuda is 10x better than snook. Snook is boring lean meat. No flavor..
I agree. I still like snook but the cuda was more flavorful in my opinion.

The old Cubans said if the flys won’t get on the Cuda their chances of poisoning.✌️💜🛶🏴☠️
That’s a cool tip thanks
