- Running Sledgehammer Trail on Day 3 at King of the Hammers 2024 and we ran into a traffic jam with a broken Chevy Tracker in the trail. A group of JHF portal axle moon buggies came to show us the way around the traffic jam with some insane line through the boulders and around the broken rigs.
Epic day with the one-ton Cherokee, the oneton LS powered Toyota Buggy and the tube chassis buggy on these 4x4 trails.

Looks like you had a blast! 🚀
It was a wicked trail, cool to meet all the guys that watch my channel, thousands of miles from home!
Always entertaining brotha love the videos
Cheers, I appreciate that!
Wicked video. Them fancy cars are sweet. Koh is on the list for next year
You wont regret it! Just make sure your rig can wheel 6,7,8 days straight.......it can be hard on parts, ask Seth haha!
@PathmakerProductions I would definitely bring a trailer and spare parts.
🔥🔥
Great footage. Loved watching these Hammers videos.
Buddy and I call those wrenches adjustable hammers. They work great for holding onto the nut then smacking the bolts out of holes when they're being stubborn hahaha.
Awesome video, keep up the good work
Keep up on the great videos man!
Cheers! More KOH fun coming, the trails kept getting harder as the week went on!
Just imagine it's a normal Sunday, and you're stuck out there with work in the morning.
Haha well sometimes a SunDAY can turn into a SunNight pretty quick!
❤ sick video. Where's the stickers and merch. !?
You can find everything on my website at www.pathmakerproductions.com
At parties, I like to play chess w/ angry, money- grubbens chubbens! Keeps the pre-verts and the rock-crawlers away!
Bhahaha! Less chance for injury in that kinda chess!
@@PathmakerProductions Never underestimate someone.
You said water in the front tires? ??? Never knew they did that
Water in the tires really helps with traction and stability. They usually do the front tires on mid/rear engine cars to balance out the weight front to back. Most guys run about to the axle. Some will run them completely full.
Yessir, the extra weight in the front tires gives a ton more traction on big climbs. Need stout axle parts to keep it together with the hundreds of pounds of extra weight tho!
Some of the comp guys do steel shot as well for more weight.
@@boostjunky9wouldn’t steel shot eat away at the bottom half of the wheel? I know a lot of guys put water in their tires. Or actually a mixture of water and antifreeze. Actually the guy filming talks about Charlie Melchner. I know Charlie mixes up water and antifreeze in 55 gallon drums before putting it into his wheels.
I don't think I could do an even trade of my house for those buggies! lol Those were awesome! Great video.
soooo fancy but daaamn do they work!
I’ve been wheeling with the Melchners for a while. Lil Charlie has been following around guys with way more experience and much better built buggies. He’s done and made things look easy that the older more experienced guys struggled on. Now that he’s in a portal car I think the sky is the limit at this point. It’s been a fun journey watching his talent tank grow. He also has an amazing mentor, his father! And yeah he’s definitely cooler than both of us when we were his age. 😂
They are super nice guys, Charlie was as stoked to meet me as I was to meet him. I'm always super impressed by what high level rigs can do and those ones are about as high level as it gets these days!
@@PathmakerProductionswhat’s funny is Charlie’s original rig “Big Silver” was already quite the rig. Then his son wanted to compete so they sold both Big Silver and Lil Silver and got somewhat matching portal buggies. Then Charlie sold his portal buggy and got an even nicer one. 😁
