I am from Clonmel in County Tipperary and we have just outside of the town a St Patricks well where St Patrick gave a Sermon it is just a beautiful place with an old stone church and a Spring where I collect the water as its so pure. Sporting people if they have an injury will go there to stick there feet or whatever pain they have it is ice cold even in Summer.

@@discoverandexplore1029 so by his example one account has a person burning his property and killing them self in fear of what
Patrick would do to him. The catholic church ruled by the sword at that time. It reminds me of the horrible act committed by missionaries in the US against native Americans.

Few church leaders speak about the holocaust.
Why is there not a church named the church of the UNBORN BABY, like the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona ?
True peace will come when the Gospel of Life is preached.

Thank you for the very enjoyable film. It would have been nice though to mention how a major spiritual tool of Patrick for winning Ireland was the power of God operating in signs, wonders and miracles including healing the sick and raising the dead as the first century disciples did.
Eg Patrick won Dublin to Christ Jesus by raising the son and daughter of the king of Dublin from the dead. In fact, the ancient book of Leinster records that Patrick was a descendant of a one of the disciples of the first century church in Jerusalem.
Patrick was not some stained glass religious figure, but a powerful example of how Jesus’ present day disciples must live our faith to win our nations and world to Jesus as He commanded.

Saint Patrick is a complete fiction , we even know who came up with the fake story . The Bishop of Sleaty hired a scribe named Muirchú moccu to create a fake character for Irish christianity . He was created as a cover story for the massacre of the native Pagans and Irish Druids and the forced conversion of Ireland to Christianity . We even have the stories of Croagh Patrick and the casting down of druids of the Crom Cruach . ( This was mass murder ) Meanwhile in cross patrick Saint Patrick had a run in with the druids , again Mass murder . Saint patricks magical fire at Tara , well that was Tara and hundreds of years of Irish Celtic history destroyed in one go . He never existed , the story was just that a cover story for the Genocide of the Irish and forced conversion to the Middle Eastern Abrhamic religion .

Great that St. Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday this year, but being the modest humble servant that he was he'd be loathed to know that there is a day in his honor. Additionally, he'd hardly want to be addressed as St. Patrick, rather "Brother Patrick." Nevertheless, as a descendant of those oft fearsome Celts of Britain and as a Christian, my family and I honor Patrick of old.

Patrick was born in what was then a Romanized Britain to a devout Catholic family.
He is kidnapped and taken to pagan Ireland and eventually returns to Britain
were he re-educates himself in his Christian faith and returns to Ireland and paves the way
for it to became a Christian nation. Ireland, in turn, becomes a strong-hold for the Christian faith,
especially when the Romans eventually withdraw and Britain is again invaded by pagans
from north Germany... and... its the monks from Ireland who reintroduce Christianity
back into what is again a pagan Britain, the original homeland of Patrick.
    What a story.

The life and real story of this saint is just one of the many proofs that the Vatican II sect is not the true Catholic church. "Pope" Francis even travels around the world to proclaim that the Catholic faith is not necessary for salvation when it is contrary to what has been professed by the true saints of God and by the true Church of Christ, the holy Catholic church "outside of which no one can be saved" - it's a defined Catholic dogma. Pray to the Blessed Virgin that the scales from your eyes may be removed before it's too late. "...get out of her My people."

Your yankie doodle anti-Catholic Pastor is a complete simpleton then. St. Patrick was the son of a Roman deacon and studied to become a bishop in modern day France which was part of the Roman empire. So it takes serious mental gymnastics to suggest he was a protestant over 1000 years before the reformation.

This is how basically every religion developes. The laws were already laws of the land. The way religious stories spread was through some intense game of telephone. The religions that came about around the same time are almost identical just with different gods. Christianity is simply a rip off of many religions before itself. It was a way to bring money and order to communities. Somehow everyone just assumes their gid is the correct god. Just to make things clear. Religion is man made. If you have some spiritual awakening there is absolutely no way to link the 'signs' with 1 religion. Again, religion is man made. The bible is man made. All religious books are man made. They are not the words of God's but the word of man. Religion is just another way to harness power. I only hope people use it for more good than bad... regardless of what floating head you believe in.

duke schomberg You're right about Martin Luther starting the Protestant churches, but the Anglican church was formed by King James because he wanted to divorce his wife. That's why the bible is known as The King James Bible. He took all the books from the bible he didn't agree with.

St. Patrick's day celebrations on march 17th of every year is a cover up story about the genocide of the Twa Pygmies.
    The original people of Ireland.
These people were literally slaughtered by Anglos who stole their lands and their identities.
The USA Smithsonian, public school, genocide, liars version states," that so called saint St. Patrick, supposedly drove a serpent( the black indigenous miniature pygmies) out of Ireland.
TRUTH: The Barbaric Anglos in antiquity massacred these people and from the pygmies height comes the myth of the leprechaun.
Anglos are not the original Irish people.
St. Patrick was a murderer of the Twa pygmies and the druids because they wouldn't conform to Roman Christianity.
    Facts!
History is treacherous and a weapon.

Anglos are not the original people of ireland the gaels and we are still here .70% of the irish still have irish gaelic names though we mostly speak english now.82000 people still gather in the third largest stadium in europe on the first sunday of september for a gaelic game called hurling and the third sunday for gaelic football .St patrick did not murder anyone he is the product of medieval spin all he did was convert a handfull of people in the northern half of the country.Ireland became a christian country gradually over the centuries.Gaelic culture was preserved by the brehon laws and brehons until the tudor reconquest.Ireland was still majority gaelic speaking until the famine in the 1840s.

The entire problem with this theory is that it is based off of the line 'driving the serpents out of Ireland' as some claim means pygmies. However, this line comes from later writings from Patrick that were written to create a patron saint and a national apostle as propaganda and are not based off of actual historical evidence. People are taking 'Patrick the legend' literally and trying to use him to create historical narratives. If you tried to base these theories off of much more accurate less bias sources it really doesn't fit.

I’m no expert but back then catholic was the only form of organized Christianity… Protestant ism came later… and then a bunch of off shoots after that… I’m not positive about the timeline and there probably were ‘off shoots’ back then although at that time it was more like people taking a different view of Christianity, like the Gnostics who were around from the beginning of the canon from what I understand… but catholic Christianity was constantines new creation and was the original Christianity… while the Gnostics were labeled as heretics… if you are truly curious you might want to look into it… but this was right at the time when Christianity was formalized into a doctrine, the time that Constantine put together the Bible at the council of Nicaea in 325 AD… a few years prior to st Patrick’s time, before 325AD, Christians we’re going off a bunch of random writings that were supposed to be from Jesus disciples and they were a highly persecuted minority group … at st Patrick’s time, the Bible was still new and the only state approved form of Christianity was Catholicism.
