It was resumed by July or August and on that time we started to process my family's visa. 2. We just gave bank statements we had in the Philippines. Its not actually much. 3. I have not encountered anyone who did that yet. Probably there were. I read somewhere that states some amount you need to show to prove that you can shoulder all their expenses and needs if they stay here. Your remittances to them is just one thing. I’m sure its a long process. Not an expert sorry

I don't think there would be a problem to that as long as you can provide them birth and marriage cert and a letter stating that You haven't change your name to married name with your documents.
