I learned so much through all this. I largely learned to not put romantic love on a pedestal and focus only on that. Love is everywhere and can be a choice in any given moment. We can learn to love freely, despite any given circumstances. I also learned you can't reason with your subconscious mind, and that as much as we have bad karma we also have good karma.
