'Sconset History Night 2023: The History of the ’Sconset Post Office

"You've Got Mail! The History of the 'Sconset Post Office" is the featured presentation of the 14th Annual 'Sconset History Night held at the 'Sconset Casino. This year, Hannah Judy shares a detailed history of the 'Sconset Post Office, established in 1872. Hannah, Jamie Gretz, Rob Benchley, postmasters past and present, and others share stories about the Post Office and the many postmasters who have served the 'Sconset community over the past 150+. years.
The annual 'Sconset History Night is presented by the Siasconset Historical Research Group (SHRG) functioning under the auspices of the Nantucket Historical Association, and is supported by the Nantucket Preservation Trust, the Sconset Trust, and On the Isle.
