I mean I don't even have a riding mower, and I still can't stop watching... life skills and handy tips in the conversation.
I like your “official coil gap tool”. Always learn something from watching your videos. Keep up the good work.
Thanks David!
I laughed when you mentioned the dip stick because I forgot about it on mine and sprayed oil everywhere. 😂 .... Great job random 👍
That never happens to me, "looks around" nope never..... LMAO
Oh, and I never forget to plug the spark plug boot back on either.... LMAO
I did it on a Honda motorcycle once, covered the exhaust and the guys leg with oil in about 4.2 seconds...rofl
The shroud on that engine incorporates everything I would design into an engine cover! Slots instead of holes for attachment screws, built in air filter housing, slip on O-ring intake attachment - what more could you want? 👍👍👍
They do work pretty well
they must have been mowing the rock garden to bend those blades
No idea what they hit, but it was bent pretty bad...lol
Thanks for the video working on a 2002 LT1000 with the exact same engine mine is surging and won’t idle at low speed. Runs fine under load tried adjusting fuel air mixture to no avail at first I got it to stop surging by adjusting idle speed screw but realized that was not the correct way to do it. Suspect I need to clean the carb after watching your video, learned a lot very intuitive.
Howdy from West Virginia I reaaly enjoy your videos and I have learned a lot also.
I have a LT1000 simply the best machine because of it being AYP .
Have a great day and Happy Memorial Day.
The AYP Craftsman units were good machines for sure. Have a good one!
Nice job easy to follow
Nice maintenance on that one. Actually quite a few tasks for maintenance. I noticed you tuned that engine by ear, it must take a while before someone can learn how to do that.
A little while for sure...lol. I pay attention and listen for any pops at low speed (lean), delay in reaching full speed with no black smoke (lean), and delay in reaching full speed with black smoke (rich).
@@randomwrenchingThanks for the tip, I'm going to keep that one in my noggin for future reference.
@@len4338 I thought you might...
Good stuff!
Good day R. Were do u get those official coil gap tester? lol
Yea "eliminator performance" said ctc top gas could contain 10% ethanol
I think plastic tanks are big advantage for cleaniness. Thanks
CTC gas does have ethanol in it now. I have seen it on the pumps myself.
@@randomwrenching Darn I have ctc card , some months I get . 10 cents /litre. Thanks
I got that gap tester from Vistaprint...lol
@@donvoll2580 Used to be Shell and CTC had ethanol free. They both have switched to ethanol. I have to find a new source
🎉 GOOD JOB !!
Thanks!
I was wondering if you were Canadian by your accent, but wasnt sure because everything in your garage looks like it could be at a neighbor of mine's.
(meaning I'm from the US)
Yep, in Canada here. Southern Ontario
Was the customer lovijg the mower after?
She said it sure cuts better now! lol. I get it back at the shop every year for a checkup and oil change now. Another happy customer
Thanks.. I your work
Thanks for watching as always Rusty!
Nowadays every screw I find loose automatically gets a shot of threadlocker when it goes back in. I figure if it came loose for any reason then I’m going to improve the situation for the next time. Zero Comebacks! 😉
