I find myself asking more questions in nursing school because they don't always go over things in-depth. I've been so confused on how meconium can mix with amniotic fluid since we barely scratch any information besides interventions, side effects, and complications. Never the "why" or "how."

So when mother is at 40 weeks and anxious and people say "baby will come out when ready", is crap! due to risks of delayed birth!
Both too early and too late can be problematic.
