Did anyone cheese this fight 😂... First time i cheesed with hughette on the perch and just blocked the ladder when anyone got close 😂 but now on my second play through newgame+ my hughgette is way under leveled but i was able to cheese with decimal underneath the bridge also blocking the ladder with Benedict buffing and granting it two fold and now 😂😂😂 gonna go back and see if can win with just those two
Oh my god, SCREW this battle. This game encourages players to try fights while being underleveled but that is such a crippling handicap that it's almost 100% pointless when you're ridiculously outnumbered and the turn counts between what you get versus what the AI gets is so fucking stupid. My people are 20 and under currently at this point, even with some grinding and upgrades, I'm still getting destroyed. The difficulty "curve" is more like a REALLY steep slope it's not even funny. Might as well grind all the fun out of this game and get to 30 before trying again.
@@questrequested9171 Well that would've been helpful to know, but that doesn't make any sense when I could go through the game without ever leveling him, so how does the difficulty get decided at that point?
@@SeraphimDragon im not sure, but Serenoa is required in most of the battles, so he gains exp faster, while everyone else gains exp slower the more you are above the recommended lvl with that character
@@ClouderSavage i know, but there are a quite a few that were pretty difficult to lvl up generally (pico, medina, lionel are some that come to mind for me)

the difficulty scales with Serenoa's lvl iirc, so if your Serenoa is super high while everyone else is low, you're gonna have a rough time yeah

@@questrequested9171 The mock battles in the encampment help with leveling those units that dont get to join most battles
