If you turn on the object snap and the angle snap it will be easier to activate and arrange the objects in the drawing. (the snapping settings down in the right corner)

Excellent! You just sold me to this program. I've been using Cinema 4D for all my stage drawing and designs and, although a great program, it is not efficient to use to theatrical drawings. This is so intuitive, fast and dare I say fun!

Great Video, the mirror tool is great and you should also try the move by points tool.
