Alluka/Nanika is not the strongest. Alluka is no different from a regular child in terms of battle prowess and despite her power actually probably being the strongest, she has no control over it whatsoever, she can't grant her own wishes, only other people's wishes
She or He or whatever, was the strongest character in the OG (remastered) HxH. Current manga has super broken characters, but if Netero knew about Nanika and told her "kill Meruem, the Ant King and all of his royal guards", they would disappear in a second. The Price is based on the nen weight, so Netero as a good guy, would just kill himself anyway. Would be that better ending than the OG one ? I don't think so. @important edit. Most people that would hear "gimme your heart" would freak out. Netero would just give his heart to her. That's what I meant. Also, if you think about that, Killua is the worst one out there.
@@roboket3524 no one is saying it's not powerful, but she's unable to defend herself from even a regular person let alone a nen empowered person and she will never be able to utilize Nanika's powers to "attack" anyone or even defend herself. I wouldn't call that the strongest. We're not even sure if she's in control of who she makes requests to or if they just kinda happen so she can't even direct her power in that way. At the absolute best, she's the strongest with Killua for reasons that are spoilers at this point in time so i wont say it here.
Alluka is a character generally criticized because it represents an excessively exaggerated power; "out of nowhere" that has no connection with the story. But these statements are false. First of all; Alluka does not act for herself, she needs a receiver; it is a dualism and independent consciences and there is an accumulation of conditions and circumstances required in between (For example; she needs to touch the body she is going to heal); not to mention that Alluka itself has no chance of winning a real fight. In addition; after Manga Y. Togashi reveals the true identity of Nanika and its origin; I will not say it so as not to tell you anything, but it makes complete sense and turns this character into a very powerful narrative resource for future arguments.
The problem is the 'Command' System. She WOULD be balanced, if what you said about her powers were true, that she MUST Reseve a Wish, and can not grant her own wishes, while forced to give requests to people that causes mass harm. The problem is that we see later on Killua can give Commands, not just wishes, and they will be fulfilled, without requiring anything.. And that is a MASSIVE Deus Ex Machina. Think about it. "Something, kill all the Ants", and poof the entire Ant Arc is over instantly. "Something, make me stronger than all others on this planet", and poof, no one can be Killua. The problem is that you can command ANYTHING and get ANYTHING in return. There is no limit, no restriction, no requirement, no nothing else. The ONLY Reason it isn't abused or used, is because the writers don't write that it is used or abused by Killua. THINK about it. "Something, bring us to Gon" And poof, this ENTIRE situation would have been over within 5 minutes of walking out the front door and out of sight and view of everyone. But he doesn't, because the writers choose not to do that, but that is something Killua 100% WOULD do, to cure Gon as SOON as possible.
@ I agree with the description given later "codependency of desire" and this is how we see that the relationship description Nanika and Killua develops; we certainly don't know much about a calamity, but I don't see why this has to be a mistake, when we know that there is something that conditions that behavior of Nanika towards Killua specifically and we certainly don't know if there is a limit to the things that Ai can do. Could Ai have exterminated all the ants? Yes; I think so. He is a being with another level of power. On the other hand, the concept of beings who grant desires is not necessarily wrong; in the story of Aladdin we have a genius who consciously grants wishes and does not feel like something forced; even when the antagonistic character became the most powerful being in the universe as a result of a desire; his own greed consumed him and the story came to an end. There are ways in which the author can explore making the story different in a second; Togashi is a specialist in giving the illusion of invincible to a character and then drastically changing that perception
She is still a very conveniently added character. The "out of nowhere" is used because she could have been used earlier in some occasions, but Killua never decided to use her and help her escape before. And when nothing could actually save gon, Togashi introduced her(i know she was foreshadowed in the zoldyck photo). All it took was a single character to solve the problem, and killua being close to her, knew all the rules, so it was convenient. the challenges posed by illumi and silva were actually kind-of-excuses used by the author to show why she was never brought up before this arc. Regardless, this arc was masterfully done, definitelly better than the random stuff other anime bring up. I am just making an argument for the people that dont like her introduction. Plus i am familiar with true identity of Nanika, though i am not very deep into the manga. I dropped the manga after everyone got on board the black whale ship, since the manga is too freaking complicated and political.
@@SpeedKing-t7n Yes, indeed; it's quite convenient, but it makes sense. If Killua had used Alluka's power to exterminate the ants, it would have gone against his principles of looking at Nanika as a mere object that can be used in a similar way to a weapon. And probably an argument can be made regarding the needle of Illumi; at the beginning there was confidence in the group with Kite, they are later defeated by Pitou and the president of the association assumes the responsibility from now on; but it is after this Killua manages to completely free himself from the control of Illumi and adopts as his main mission to protect and accompany Gon; It is possible that Killua has not felt the need directly to use Alluka because his greatest concern was not death at this point; but the well-being of his friendship with Gon; and It can be said that it is a responsibility that only he proposed to face. I could say that all that was in Killua's mind was Gon In HxH the characters are complex and there are a multitude of reasons behind their actions; for example, if Netero had invalidated the Ants' nest, he could probably have defeated Pitou and ended the mission before the king's birth or he could have contacted the Zodiacs if it weren't because his desire to oppose a worthy rival at his age and the idea of fun were in his mind. I believe that Killua and the group in general were focused on taking the palace by their own hands; each with an objective in addition to common, individual; Killua projected in a certain way towards Gon and Netero towards the king. Emotions and thoughts have a place in the characters and this is the way they are reflected; in biased or immature or selfish behaviors.
@@DiegoGueva Damn that's a lot. But I read everything. Frankly speaking, this is what sets HXH apart. It blends emotional decision and logical planning together. Netero was super strong but his power was literally beat people with hands very fast it was so simple but very easy to use, that's why the nen system is so interesting, we have a way to very strong people and overpowered powers just find some counter or some op power with very especifc restrictions and destroy you like Kurapika do.
