LightWeld Laser - Alien Technology

We've had a ton of questions from a couple of quick videos I posted on social media so, we decided to answer some of those questions and learn the machines capabilities as you watch along as we test this new technology out! We have just touched on the beginning of the uses, and we are doing it using 18 gauge .050) mild steel. This machine comes with some presets, but we will need to adjust to suit our needs and style.
I feel this will change a lot of industries that require speed, precision, reduction in material warpage, reduced weld dressing and cleaning. The LightWeld XR that we have will weld up to 1/4 inch material thickness and in our line of work... that's plenty!
We will be doing many more videos using the laser welding process, especially with aluminum sheet metal on Coupe Simone as we build the stunning car.
