if you're using the printer wirelessly, make sure that it's connected to the same network as your pc. if your router has 2.4g and 5g frequencies, make sure that your pc is connected to 2.4g because printers can only connect to 2.4g.

Yes, it prints from smartphones. Maybe tablet too, just never tried. I'm sure you just need to download the app. Hope this helped

Based on the manual you can’t receive a fax if your phone have and answering machine with it. Is that true.
The set up hast to decide how many rings before it will pick up a fax.
The answering machine must be turned off.
