    My great uncle Arthur Greenwood was brought up here with his brother William my grandfather.Their father was a decorator.Wish I knew more.

    I Keep looking at these old photos , my favourite one is near the beginning ,and it's Macedo Square where several generations of Harrison,s lived. Including our Grandad Arthur Harrison.

    grew up in lower Carr street in 1960s and went to hunslet Carr school ,great times then , I often wish I could have those times back ,great memories,thanks so much for these fantastic pictures

    Woodhouse Hill Road Chapel. This is the backside view and also this is the place my brother and me was sent to on a Sunday by our parents, I shall not tell you the reason why. lol,

    What about Specialloid, Leeds Piston Ring Co, Sulzers, Hunslet Engines...I used to go down Hunslet on 7 bus when I as a conductor.

    Great pictures went to princess field Ingram road and Matthew Murray more Holbeck than Hunslet but still great memories

    I was Born in 56 anchor street in 1965 we moved house before I was one both my brothers were born in Bramley the houses are still standing I'd love to see a picture of my house

    I was born on old run road a cottage in front of the pit head I think my parents and my brother and I had to leave it was too dangerous for us to stay there my dad was called John William Scaife he delivered coal to Middleton and Belle isle if any body can tell me anything else please do
