my first Bisco west coast run; saw L.A., these 2 GAMH shows as well as Palookaville on the 4th night. It's a week I'll never forget. This show has this amazing 1st set and the incredible Little Lai and Basis in set 2 but that Palookaville show will always be in my top 5 all-time and I've seen them 200+ times since '97, stopped counting after my 200th in Port Chester spring of 2016. Do yourself a solid and get the SBD of 10-14-00.... filthy. God bless all of you!!! see you on a dance floor soon.
Hell ya man I was just at 2 of the 3 nights at the Cap. I kind of took a 10 yr hiatus. They have been awesome every show ive been too. NVR really counted shows but I gotta be in the high dbl digits. Sry for long mes
@@erichajosch3537 right on man, I was there for all 3 as well. That 3rd night Basis set 2 was bonkers!!! 1st night was amazing. The place was rocking. peace.
@@erichajosch3537 Yes, amazing spot, I was at the Jammer in 2010 for a great 3 day run after Barber returned from his broken wrist and I've seen them twice at the Music Farm in Charleston in 2009 and 2002(I believe) as well. If I wasn't on Vancouver Island, I would go in June but doing Summercamp and the 2 Long Island shows.
I was at a really uptight show in ybor city by tampa for a show. I swear They watched me duck down and pack my pipe, the first light of my bowl matched the first note of the song. 15 min later the house which threw the whole 1st hour was smoke free was filled with happy heads passin and a puffin
@phreshtube1 I have to agree. I remember catching about 10-20 shows a year back through 97-2002 and were just floored by them. Now, I catch them when they come near but the few shows I've seen just aren't the same.. too much electronica and Barber doesn't really explore like he used to... I still love them, and I really dig the new Brownie ballads... but just a different style and I prefer the older style
These were the days...I know current Biscuits get hyped a lot but 1999-2002 was the absolute peak. Catch a couple shows a year these days but they have really gone down hill.

36:25 Sammy is incredible. I've been listening to this set for 15 years and I still love it front to back.
Is this the best single set of all time!?!
It's definitely in the running
thank you so much for this post
Used to love when it would feel like sammy was just mean-mugging the crowd like "oh yeah, you want some more of this?!" Lot of that here in this set.
99 and 02 are their two best years, but Fall 00 was their best tour

f2k is by far my favorite period for biscuits. This set was amazing. Moments like 36:48 is what makes this era of biscuits so awesome
so far ahead of its time....
+Roger Ailiff i agree!
