You don’t have to wait for long. You can actually request access to it right now on Steam and get it for free as a play test
I don't think it has MP capability yet. Says single player on steam unless I missed that.

@@Ph.DiKrakahoathere is a multiplayer option but there are some bugs. Sometime you need to exit and re-join or can’t spawn. That’s the only game breaking issue relate to MP.
This in VR would be amazing. Doesnt look as complicated as DCS but more in-depth than games like War Thunder, something I have wanted for a long while but never found anything. Definitely excited for this game.
Yea I doesn't have VR or TrackIr support, but I can see them adding it later.... It is in VERY EARLY playtest right now.

Nuclear only has two syllables. "New clear"

In that case it “should” be pronounced more like new kle air since it’s basically a French loanword. Different pronunciations and dialects exist and words change over time and region. Not worth nitpicking someone over a “mispronunciation” that has made its way into common vernacular

Another one that is like this, but a totally forgotten full release game is the rebooted Comanche. If you remember that from the late 90's...
Never played it. I would say they look similar but Comanche is definitely an arcade style game. Nuclear Option has more of a flight sim to it based by how you fly the jets

Man, for a early access this looks like real games we had in the past.. polished for playing. And even though I don't like too modern displays they made it look so good by doing it react with the atmosphere colors, it's really a game changer for me.. feels artistic and something you could just play to appreciate the view. The destruction looks so goood, not perfect but really good. If they wanna do it perfect they should make you feel the crash, like be able to see the water coming in through the holes of the aircraft or fire starting to consume you.. that is something War Thunder still misses.
The fact that a game on 0.22.5 version "looks" more complete than bf2042 on launch shows how shit bf2042 was

You can just request to be on the play list to play it i just did it and its downloaded.
This game is only a fraction complete and already makes a lot of other flight games look like trash. It has a lot of cool and simple mechanics and amazing visuals and physics. As long as the devs keep the same momentum... this game is going to be massive.

This reminds me a lot of this old PS2 game(?) called 'Dropship'.
One of my absolutely favorite things in DCS was taking the Viggen through canyons and out to sea while flying SUPER low to fire some anti-ship missiles with basically zero interaction with enemies if you did everything right. I would love it if a game let you do something similar but without all the hassle of actually playing DCS. This looks intriguing….
This looks like an enhance version of DCS and the destruction mechanics and destroyable objects is way better than Battlefield 2048 hands down.
Battlefield never got decent destruction on vehicles XD

I look at it like the next generation of fighters. Like how battlefield 2042 has weapons that look like today’s weapons being used but with just some minor adjustments in the way, it looks. It might not take place 300 years in the future, but maybe 20 years.
I thought the front section of the FS looked like the j-20 Chinese fighter

@marchew4241 When on the map before you select a plane or after dying, you can click on the units and right click on a point that you want them to move to.

Imagine a game like this that had the budget of Activision, and the care of Rockstar. This game has so much potential. I hate to see it go to waste.

Looks great, but when I heard you have to "level up" to use certain things I kinda lost interest.
I have had my fill with such arcade mechanics in Planetside 2, so I think I'm gonna stick with Star Citizen instead.
There was servers that allowed you to fly any aircraft without having to lvl up

This is really interesting, and I'm watching this with WT alt tabbed. I feel I'd eally miss the real vehicles, but just buying and playing without the F2P shenanigans would feel real good...
If you look in the game files the VR library from unity is already there.

Looks like a fun arcade flight game... but without TrackIR support it's a pass for me. I've played with TrackIR in all flying games for so many years that I simply can't stand playing without anymore.
It's like those rare first person shooters that don't let you invert mouse y-axis. I just can't play those at all.
I was dropping nukes in 1996 playing F22 Lighting or was it Lighting 2? can't remember :) It does look way better all this years later tho!

I personally like it more than war thunder. Might be a little over the top but it’s different than most games
