- I struggle with POTS and it is a condition that a lot of people do not understand. POTS is a condition that can turn into an invisible disability. So because you cannot see what POTS does to the body I thought I would explain it in a video to give you a basic understanding of what it is and how it affects the body.
amazing video, thank you!! i also have POTS and it affects us in very similar ways, except i've never fainted (yet, fingers crossed haha). i am hoping to get a service dog particularly for POTS but also migraines and some psychiatric things. can't wait for your video on how dallas helps you with your POTS!!!
i'm so excited to see you talk about this! it's great to see more education around pots and invisibly disabilities in general.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I definitely want to start making more about invisible disabilities rather than just all service dog content
@@dallastheservicedoodle7236 yes! i love the service dog content, it's always wonderful to see dallas, but i definitely don't think there's enough content about invisible disabilities!
This helped me a lot, I am starting to experience symptoms similar to PoTs, I am still waiting for my doctor appointment! Thank you for the information:)
I’m glad it helped! Good luck at your appointment
This really helped me understand POTS better. I have Graves disease so I was curious in how it made you feel and what it did to the body. Thanks for making this video!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I have Hashi toxicosis which is a thyroid condition as well. Thyroid issues are also linked to POTS as well. It’s interesting how so many illnesses can be linked together
@@dallastheservicedoodle7236 It really is. Kind of scary sometimes too :)
I love your content! I’m currently at the part where doctors are trying to figure out why my blood pressure will drop (63/29) and my heart rate rises (100+) and I get dizzy just being over to put my shoes on or walking around a store. I have a lot of the symptoms you talked about and will bring it up to my doctor at my appointment next week. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how you trained Dallas to pick up her leash
I’d absolutely do a tutorial of that, it was one of the most fun things to train.
Good luck at your appointment I hope that they can come up with a diagnosis and start a treatment plan to hopefully minimize your symptoms
awe thank you! you're too sweet 🥺🤍
I get iv therapy, I have gastroparesis and suspect pots and it helps but I'm trying to seek out better treatment options The treatment that I receive is great, but I want to be able to live my life. But not having to go to the infusion center all the time.
odd about the salt thing, wen i did my re-search on pots (my doctor says i have it) there are alot of pot victoms who cant handle a salt diet but can handle salt tablets (im one of them)
It is strange. I can handle a salt diet bit not the tablets bc they give me heartburn
@@dallastheservicedoodle7236 ya everyone is different
