@@davidbentley6075 indeed. Whatever he's trying to say doesn't seem to be very pleasant. Weird to (presumably) accuse MKCs of stealing his song when they are performing a Josh Ritter song on this clip. I would bet all my earthly possessions that Josh wrote this, not least because on the evidence of the above quote I think Mr Randel might struggle to accurately transcribe the words in the correct order, let alone think of and assemble them himself.
I would love to hear Dave and Gillian sing this song.

I have to share but I don't want to because I love Josh and these MCK dudes are making their guitars sing in a way that so compliments Josh's song and all, but......I wish the vocals were just Josh, the harmony is distracting for me, but what do I know?
Also, Josh should record all his vocals for future recordings in this studio, with that mic, because the first verse before the harmony comes in sounds just right fine!

I love this guy but honestly this trio doesn't seem to go anywhere to me - there is no rhythm in the playing, harmonies are plain and sung blandly in a key which doesn't seem OK for their voices either, general feeling is just uninteresting - I'm sorry but I can't see where the hype from the other commentators would come from, it just feels to me like a lost chance

Milk carton kids? What kind of a name is milk carton kids? So, were you kidnapped? Are you kids who prefer dinking milk from a carton as opposed to a glass? I don't know. Music might be great but I cant get past the name...

They named themselves after one of their own songs. It's called 'Milk Carton Kid', but they just used the plural sense to account for the fact that there's two of them.
